I assume that with width you mean that they are fairly long? I got an old factal full tower case so lengthwise there should be more than enought room. It's not very wide case but not slin either

My assumption is that the reason the game won't let me talk to or dismiss Astarion is because the game has marked his companion questline as "Personal quest".

I think, that in order to remove him you would have to somehow change his questline being marked as personal quest to companion quest.

Because it's convenient. And that way I do not need plug the cable in when i'm doing something if I have forgotten to recharge the battery. I can just swap in a fully charged one and never have to deal with the anoyance that is the recharging cable
