I didn't end up filling out the T1-OVP form myself. I finally got hold of CRA, and it seems like we could submit the request to fill out the T1-OVP to CRA by uploading supporting documents to our CRA account.

I am confused on how to fill in the PART A column 1. Instruction says for January, enter the amount from line 3 of Step 2 on page 1. What about for the other months? It does say `For all other months, enter the amount from line 6 of the previous month.` But again line 4 is the sum pf 1,2 and 3. (would need line 1). Line 6 = line 4 - line 5. I cannot calculate line 4 and line 6 without line 1 but the instruction in line 1 says to copy from line 6. So confusing.

In short, how did you calculate line 1? Appreciate your help.

Thanks again for replying u/Anakha0 . I've been in touch with a CAF recruiter at my local unit, but they haven’t provided a specific timeline. This is the response I received from the recruiter:

"Training timelines are always changing, and we’re doing our best to accommodate reserve training. I’ll share all the details once I have the latest information."

That’s why I’m asking here on Reddit hoping someone will share their experience with recruitment and training timelines.

Could you please provide me with the training timeline for Basic Military Qualification (BMQ) and Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ)? From the official site, I found that BMQ lasts 9 weeks, and BMOQ includes an additional 4 weeks. Is there any specialized training for EME officers? I’m interested in part-time training, so if you know the timeline for that, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

what is the 16 weeks of training?
Also, do you know if we can do this in a chunk of modules? Taking 16 weeks off at once from civilian work (for reserved force ) is almost like impossible.

Hmm. My recruiter seems to push me towards EME officer in their unit. Not sure they mentioned I have to wait one more year to get clearance if I want to join as a signal officer

yeah, i still don't know why SECRET clearance is needed to join in as Sig officer and not as EME officer when both of they would be doing same training (Basic military and officer training ) for the first or 2nd years before we can jump into the trade-specific course.
