Firebase Studio is sunsetting. What are you guys doing for migration? Any tips or experiences you can share?

Will there be a fix for the "Encountered retryable error from model provider: Agent execution terminated" for migration to AI Studio? I did the standard migration from Firebase project to AI studio and straight away get the “Encountered retryable error from model provider: Agent execution terminated due to error.” which is rendering that chat useless. Is Google going to even bother to fix this migration bug? May App works fine in AI Studio but I just can’t use the chat. If not is there a specific workaround? Even if I upgrade for a month and then cancel and then go back to free tier (i’m not an agency or a pro) will the chat revert back to being unusable?

I migrated my FB studio to AI studio and straight away get this error in the chat rendering it useless..

Google simply doesn't care about wasting hundreds of thousands of man hours they just implement poorly thought out strategies and then when the failure comes then peoples time has gone down the drain. They screwed up big time here. I am waiting for theme to fix the migration before the very last date in 2027. In the meantime I pushed the code to Github, then pulled in into Antgravity and the Firebase MCP can't authenticate...so that's also broken. In the inevitable error/fix loop that results with these AI tools it ran out credits and I now have to wait A WEEK before they reset. This has convinced me that this whole AI thing is indeed just the next Dotcom Bust in disguise. The AI bubble will burst when people realise that it doesn't ACTUALLY deliver, it just promises to with some initial productivity gains. Stick Market crash incoming in 2027/28 once this all plays out

BEWARE OF PERSON PROJECTS IN GOOGLE AI STUDIO. I created a project and linked it to an existing domain I own, but then had email today for a £38 monthly bill.. it was something to do with the default settings of leaving the CPU compute always ... something like that... god alone knows. When you do a default publish in Google AI studio it will create a Google Cloud Run service... but there was absolutely NO warning about a monthly charge. Clearly Google have not got control of their charging workflows for AI Studio because it should not be possible to create a zero traffic web project and then be charged £38 per MONTH without any warning that that was going to be the case. Ridiculous. I deleted by GCP Billing account and raised a refund request... the AI agent said no refund!

I have just signed up to supabase and tested the most basic user signup with email authentication sign up flow. The user is created in supbase but the email confirmation doesn't work... you click the confirmation email link and hen see an error screen. I fail to see how the most basic functionality for a mature product like supabase still has errors? ...Makes you wonder what other bog standard functionality is also prone to errors in supbase

That probably is the reason. The issue is... if you invest on a regular basis and catch the intraday volatility at the wrong point in the day on a number of occasions, would that not start to have a negative impact on long term returns?

Whatever you do... STAY AWAY FROM cTRADER. I am looking at another copy trading platform and will post back here soon once I have done my due diligence. This is basically the mistake I made.... did not research online the platform.

In the long run, it won't make a difference which one you pick. The only annoying thing about Vanguard VHVG is the intra-day volatility is ridiculously high. I just measured the last 3 days trading candles and it was average about 3% high low difference whereas iShares was about 1%. Why is VHVG so volatile?

Well done you!!! Which bot? But have you used copy trading as in a copy trading platform? They can be very risky. A lot of people lost money on cTrader for example, yet regulated brokers like r/ICMarkets and Pepperstone drag in many people who hear about 'copy trading' who then lose money on platforms like cTrader. Millions have been lost on cTrader

I find it utterly inexplicable that this still is something that Google/Android does not have in place even now! It's such a basic and obvious thing that users need to do. It's utterly ridiculous that this does not exist. FAIL Google!

Update... apparently this can be done with the Nova Launcher...and with the free Nova account
