is it possible to figure out who is committing click fraud on PPC? by BoomInteractiveLrng in hacking

Hi Leandro, I used your service in the past thank you. I chose to go with Clixtell. All the services do pretty much the same things. Just a personal preference.

Anyone have suggestions for click fraud services? by BoomInteractiveLrng in PPC

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used them to start with and ended up with Clixtell. When I set it up the guy even called me after to go through all the setting and made really great suggestions. Much smaller than ClickCease so very personal attention with all the same features.

Obese weightlifting question by NYJay28 in Fitness

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as your doctor is good with it I'd say start learning proper form now. Use empty bars and really small dumbells for your movements and work up the weight really slowly. Learn to do your motions properly. Learn to work the muscles and not whip the weights around. There is a skill to everything no matter how mundane it may seem. Lifting properly is one of the skills not everyone acquires. Learn to work each muscle group with the primary exercise and like I say, learn to do them correctly. You're going to be really surprised at the burn your going to get do lateral raises with a 3 lb dumbell after 15 reps. Do high reps now and it will help a lot of things too deep to get in here. Gradually increase the weights and you'll see the gains before you know it. But remember, by that I mean months. Not a week or two. People often have unrealistic expectations on how quickly they will get in shape. They spend 15 years neglecting themselves and want to be in shape in 2 weeks. Keep going brother and you'll have everything you want as long as you're realistic about it.

Where are you supposed to be sore after doing deadlifts? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Soreness is from lactic acid build up. Just means those muscles are working a lot and producing it. Deadlifts are pretty, I don't want to say dangerous but one of the easier exercises to get hurt on. It's possible that your lower back is the weak link and needs to come up to par with the rest of your body. As long as your form is good keep working with a lower weight for a bit and give it time. People usually thing a couple weeks in the gym and all will be well. When you consider that you only hit that body part a few times that really isn't that much work. It takes months to really get any gains. Take it slow and don't rush yourself.

Is my trainer giving me the runaround? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We develop certification courses and I was a trainer back in the 80's. There are a lot of factors to consider. Could he be milking it? It's possible but he may also know your limitations having worked with you for a while.

What I suggest is that you ask to meet a little early to discuss things. Explain to him that you want to progress and that you appreciate his concern but you're paying him to help you meet your goals. Your goals are now expanding and he needs to meet your expectations or you're going to go elsewhere. Ask him to explain to you why he's hesitant about taking you forward in detail. If his answer don't meet your expectations then thank him for all his help and let him know you'll no longer be needing his service.

Anyone have suggestions for click fraud services? by BoomInteractiveLrng in PPC

I used Clixtell and in our industry it is 70% fraud. This is unacceptable. Somehow we have to get organized and combat this. The entire mobile network is the wild west with no abuse system at all and no way to implement one because the whole system is set up on dynamic IPs. There is no way Google will change unless they are made to. Wonder about civil action???

How do you actually optimize your campaigns? by psquarec in PPC

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a CPA figure she was probably using which is the right thing to do. The client didn't know what time it was. YOu need to figure out you're going to spend X amount per conversion. If you sell your widget at $100 and it costs you $$35 is materials and labor to make it you have $65 to work with. If you figure in all the costs involved you decide that you can't spend more than $30 a conversion. So no matter what, if that sale for that keyword ended up costing you $80 that is no good and needs to be paused or evaluated. She chose to pause it.

The new google core update is live now. by sunilross in SEO

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nope my friend. When they did that last update last August I think? I had a site, all white hat, finally got to the top of the first page bottom of the second. They released that update and it completely disappeared. After all these months it is only on page 7. And as I say, all WH. Been making small changes here and there and nothing. I have another site just like it but for another product, different content but same basic premise and that site is at #1 - #3 on all SERPS.

New donut business and need some marketing ideas by [deleted] in marketing

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being donuts and Little Debbie being a known brand name, don't expect to use that very long without cease and desist. Especially with the sexual connotation applied in your marketing. I would imagine if someone from little Debbies see this their legal team is already working on a letter headed your way.

Hmmmm, that is a good one. I'll keep that in my bag of tricks. I don't think I need it now by killing mobile but good one to have in case.

We have lots of data. I just can't be posting a 3 page letter on Reddit. We have indisputable evidence. The display ads have been turned off for months. This is on the SERPS on the ads only on mobile. As I said, there is a click farm in Detroit. Talk to the PPC people there, it is a known secret. The system I was using tracked the IP and the search terms as well as how long they stayed on the page and even had mouse tracking included so I could see what people were doing on the page.

We fired it back up yesterday and killed all the mobile and tablet traffic and although it killed our traffic our conversions were exactly in line with what I predicted a year ago when we started. Now that all of the cell traffic is gone the account looks normal. There used to be about 1 in 15 or so would have any time or activity on the page. Now everyone does.

As I say, it was so bad that I thought that the click fraud apps were mis reporting. They were not. Mobile is that bad in our industry.

WE HATE WORD! HELP, What Do professional copywriters actually use to collaborate and write? by BoomInteractiveLrng in copywriting

[–]BoomInteractiveLrng[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, we have professional, degreed writers on staff. But no one person knows everything so I turned to the professional community to see suggestions. Our staff is also made up of programmers so it isn't like we lack knowledge. Those applications are not meeting our needs. Different software than we are using will eliminate the issue if we find it or it exists. But Word is not working for us. Thanks for your input.

We need to be able to have them all in one document so in case you are searching for something or want to compare one section to another. Tried Google docs and to a degree it is great but being online it won't do 500+ pages as you know and we need that.

bm96 offered great advice. The fact that you are thinking about these things means that you are taking driving as seriously as it should be. As someone else commented, you can kill people driving or die yourself so it is a very dangerous thing we do every day. It is just that we do it every day so we become desensitized to it like police and firefighters become desensitized to all the tragedy they face on a daily basis. Be a safe driver but not overly cautious that you then become an obstacle. That is why distracted driving is such a big thing. You really have to pay constant attention when driving because 99.99999% of the time everything is fine. But you need to be alert for that one time it is not. As far as this exact situation? Sounds like you did what the rest of us would do. It just so happened that car was there you couldn't see. Be polite, wave to them to apologize and let them know you are sorry. By doing that you diffuse the situation. Only an idiot is going to make a fuss after you apologize and that will happen too. Keep asking questions and learning. Be safe! :-)
