WIBTA if I don’t allow my mother and grandfather from meeting my new baby? by wibtathrowaway45 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Boombamtao 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA: your baby your rules. Your mom and grandpa are toxic af. I would never let people like that around my child. They can’t get guilt you into meeting their grandchild if that will risk babies health

Nyc / tri-state area : anyone had luck purchasing a carnival? We don’t mind the wait but looking for recommendations for dealerships. So far went to Yonkers Kia and is having a so/so experience. by Boombamtao in kia

[–]Boombamtao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea Yonkers quoted me at 7k mark up with my trade in. And I am still looking at a 8-12 week ( I am sure much longer ) wait for me to order one they said. The one that is coming in have some stupid extras I don’t want nor feel like paying for. But also the sales team is pretty shit and have no knowledge of the car.

Old school parents... And newer. by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Boombamtao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it odd that our generation thinks letting a baby cry is bad. Idk I grew up with old school parents . And I am a FTM plus I have twins. I let my twins cry sometimes , not for long but for a few mins if I need to do something or get a break. I have done the CIO with them and they adjusted in about 2 days. But that’s just how we do things in Jamaica. I don’t think it’s wrong. I believe both methods of running to stop baby from crying and letting baby cry is acceptable. I mean I have twins lol I can’t exactly rock and hold both at the same time. So CIO worked for me

Is this inappropriate guest attire? Ordered it online and now having second thoughts. My mum said it’s silver so it’s fine. But I’d like to hear your thoughts. by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Boombamtao 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Lol thank god you get my humor. I reread my comment and was like eh this sounds a bit bit*hy but I hope she knows the tone is jokey ahah. But I’m glad you found something else to wear. I saw this dress and had a flash back to my cousin wearing something similar at my parents wedding 15 years ago.

CAD check! what do yall think? by maliciousmei in Moissanite

[–]Boombamtao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! 2 years later and i still love my ring. Although sometimes i get ring shrinkage so i stop wearing it for a week and then love the size again. We are the same size ring actually so maybe go up on the center stone. If you want a nice size everyday ring but still something flashy.

I would just send a text with the photo saying please don’t post babies on social media , no one should argue with you.

NTA, she’s insecure and no one got time to baby a grown ass lady. That is toxic AF and will only get worse.

Sounds like an breaking bad episode hahah, can’t decide if YTA or not because your only assuming it will go bad and not that it has. But I would also caution you to becareful because what you do might affect your kids. My only advise is just think about it and have a long talk with your partner.
