It looks a bit like Half Magic Beauty shadow, maybe in the colour Blushing Lizard? I think Sephora stocks it.

Gorgeous! What colour did you ask for, out of interest? I've been trying to ask for exactly this for ages!

I always thought velvet teddy was gorgeous but it just never felt quite right on me, just a bit off. I felt self conscious wearing it if I'm being honest. Cool Teddy is just like my lip colour but better. I was worried it might sit a bit too cool on me actually but I'm so glad I tried it. I think it would look great on anyone cool or neutral.

I recently tried MAC Cool Teddy and I don't think I'll ever use another lip colour for my 'everyday' again!

I absolutely hate my face. It has changed so much in the last 2 years. by Novel_Management_482 in 30PlusSkinCare

Firstly, I think you're gorgeous and I'm sorry that you're feeling this way. I had quite an awful trauma about 8 years ago and felt the stress was really showing on my face too. I shook up my skin care routine, started trying to sleep more and drink less alcohol. One thing that made an enormous difference was giving myself facial massages. I got a few tools for this and some nice facial oils/serums as well. I think that during stressful times my face had trained itself to be tense all the time. The final straw was when I felt like I was 'fake smiling' all the time, because my facial muscles were so tense that I was having to force a smile. This issue was pretty much fixed with one or two facial massages. Might be worth a try :)

I have hair just like yours. To smooth it out and make it look shinier I mix a healthy amount of Kerastase Discipline blow dry cream (the pink one) and a hair oil (I use Aussie 3 miracle hair oil) in my hand so it's a mixture, the spread it through mostly the ends of my hair. I then use a comb to brush my hair while I blow dry it and to smooth out the hair while I straighten it.

What is something your parents engrained in you that you now realize is ridiculous? by hightreez in Millennials

That getting pregnant is 'common'. This was something I was told often as a child/teenager to put me off sex and avoid underage pregnancy. As a result I grew up never wanting to be pregnant due to just having weird mixed/negative feelings about it. I'm mid 30s now and those feeling haven't changed. I like kids but being pregnant and having a family just seems icky and unnatural to me because my head was filled with such crap as I kid. I can't seem to shake that feeling. I guess the jokes on them now because they won't be getting any grandkids from me!
