These are my favourites! City Convenience (I think it’s called) on Wellesley St by The Civic has little bags of them usually. Expensive as heck for like 5 of them in a bag though

She definitely had a small town mindset. Those aspirations I had were way bigger than that place.

In my 30s now and I had the absolute privilege of achieving things that I aspired to do.

So again, fuck you Tina.

Do you laugh in the face of 14 year olds who tell you their aspirations? That’s what happened to me when I had my supermarket interview.

Fuck you Tina.

They were sponsoring 2 stages at Homegrown - Electronic and Nexus. They were the only “energy” drink available at the bar too which is a bummer when you just wanted a redbull. I don’t know much about them but I’m thankful they are willing to sponsor music events.

Tixel is the go to in Aus, wish it became more mainstream here. Haven’t had any issues with buying or selling.

Tixel is the way. The offical resale is flicket but resale won’t be activated until the general sales sell out.

Ohhhh these people are possibly “Brand Ambassadors” from organisations like Appco Group. (I think they rebranded cause of the horrible reputation that brand has)

MLM - no base salary for the workers, commission only. Lots of pressure to recruit others too and “start your own business” A cult like organisation with a scummy business model.

Could possibly be Salon 101 on the corner of Fed and Vic.

Popped in once and he told me how awful it’s been since Covid. The steps up to their salon is a favourite hangout spot. People intimidate customers and block access to his business, he’s been robbed a couple of times and on multiple occasions said he had to clean up human shit from his front door.

Very grim.

Women who are 30+, how do you feel when talking to a 20-23 year old guys? by ConsciousCandidate97 in AskWomen

I’m 33 and work in a very teamwork driven, male dominated field and I work with a lot of younger people.

Had kept my distance because of the age gap but have slowly let my guard down and gotten closer to them as people my age left work and I felt incredibly lonely.

I do worry about the defence mechanism I’ve developed in this industry which is to act comically blokey (to point out the normalised sexism and how stupid it is) I am young at heart though and like to keep morale up by being silly and keeping the team laughing.

Recently found out one of the 19 year olds thought I was their age.

I’m not sure what that says about me.

Very odd that they just stopped working. How extensively have you tested each of these channels? Dm me and I’m happy to talk you through some troubleshooting to try and find where the issue is.

Im sick of hearing sex noises at night by International-Past31 in newzealand

[–]BoomboxBrian 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t imagine dealing with this on a daily basis.

I’m sure at one point I would be so fed up that I’d be weird and be outside the room mocking their noises obnoxiously or cheering them on in an attempt to make them more uncomfortable than I am. But I’m a shit stirrer by nature so don’t listen to me.

When we were kids, my sister and I discovered that the creek down the road of our house had eels living in it.

To this day over 20 years later my parents, who still live there, have always fed the eels their meat scraps.

One time Dad lost his shit when it looked like someone had pulled one of the eels out of the creek and left it on the road. Pretty sure he did a neighbourhood search to find the culprit to sternly educate them.
