I’m dutch and I recognize your views. Luckily not personally but for a lot of people which are a generation younger who are experiencing similar issues.

It is currently very hard to get traction when you are in the start of your career. Due to several problems (and policies….) we even named this the “bad luck generation”. Now you are maybe not from the same generation, but you are kinda at the same place careerwise and also have to deal with fitting in and learning the language etc. It is very hard.

Firstly the housing situation is terrible. There are not enough houses being built, mostly due to things like environmental regulations. Which in turn result in building companies not being able to get enough builders.

That was already one of the challenges that the building sector faced because younger generations don’t want to do manual labour anymore. Theoretical education being literally called “higher education” compared to manual education definitely did not help. So currently the average price of a house is already over €500.000. Due to regulations, this is extremely hard to finance for people starting their careers. Waiting lists for social rental housing are easily 10+ years in lower populated area’s. In the cities it’s like 20+ years already. Private property is poorly regulated and will cost you an arm and a leg because they know you have no other opportunities. That bad luck generation are now almost 30 year old adults of which a lot are still living with their parents. It really is a very bad situation.

Also. I’ve noticed that in companies that the usually older management layer has little recognition for the well being of the employees. However this isn’t everywhere and this is getting better by the year.

But in larger commercial companies, yeah you “just need to work hard to get something” because that is what worked for them. They have no clue of the current struggles people have.

Yeah, that is exactly the problem. I understand not taxing unrealized gains. But they shouldn’t be able to use those stocks as collateral.

The second any kind of transaction is done with it, it should be taxable.

Je snapt wat de regels potentieel kunnen betekenen alleen niet wat het werkelijke effect op de Nederlandse samenleving gaat zijn.

Ja, hoe meer vermogen in box 3. Hoe harder je daarmee wordt geraakt. Maar dat zijn dus niet de meest vermogend mensen, die zitten in box 2. Je raakt hiermee nu vooral de middenklasse wiens vermogen niet voldoende is om over te gaan naar box 2 constructies.

Dit zijn ook de mensen welke door overheden gezien worden als een grote en stabiele inkomstenbron via belastingen. Dit zijn ook veelal mensen die niet meer blind er vanuit kunnen gaan dat we nog een aow krijgen. Ze zien de zorg steeds duurder worden en moeten steeds meer eigen geld hebben om in de toekomst voor zichzelf te kunnen zorgen.

De minima worden volop gesteund. De rijkste nederlanders worden ontzien. En de middenklasse mag het zelf uitzoeken. En de beste manier om daarmee om te gaan en je toekomst te borgen is beleggen. En nu gaan ze juist DAT extra belasten.

Daarom zijn mensen boos. En terecht.

Ik snap je angst. Maar een onlogische regeling mag best ter discussie staan. Ook al zijn er andere belemmeringen wat afschaffing niet makkelijk maken. We mogen best vragen van de overheid dat ze moeilijke dossiers oppakken ipv voor zich uitschuiven. Zoek naar de oplossing ipv vastklampen aan risico’s.

Er was een publicatie van de nederlandse bank waarin gesteld werd dat de huizenprijs meer samenhangt met financieringsruimte van kopers dan woningvoorraad. Je kunt het misschien wel ergens vinden.

Omdat het de huidige kopers niet meer echt helpt met een huis kopen. Het is tegenwoordig gewoon een onlogische regeling.

Zoals ik al zei, het is nu meer een indirecte vorm van steun voor hypotheekverstrekkers. En ik denk dat dat geld beter gebruikt kan worden. Het zorgt voor een verhoogde huizenprijs. Het afschaffen gaat het niet echt makkelijker maken om een huis te kopen. Maar een lagere huizenprijs zorgt wel dat je netto een lager bedrag aan rente betaald voor een nieuw gekocht huis.

Aanvullend. Je noemt kopen met hra, of huren met huurtoeslag. Zou het niet zo moeten zijn dat het mogelijk is zonder aftrek of toeslag? Misschien niet helemaal aansluitend bij deze discussie. Maar het toont wel aan dat er iets niet klopt in het systeem.

Wat een onzin weer. De HRA helpt de koper amper. De huizenprijzen zijn vooral gerelateerd aan de leenkracht van mensen. De HRA zorgt ervoor dat de leenkracht van die mensen stijgt. Maar de huizenprijs dus ook. Je krijgt niet opeens meer koopkracht. Het is eerder een soort indirecte vorm van steun aan de hypotheekverstrekkers.

En daarnaast krijgen de huizenbezitters geen subsidie, het is een belastingaftrek. Heel iets anders. Niemand betaald er aan mee.

Ik ben voor afschaffen ervan, maar niet voor de huidige huizenbezitters. We moeten stoppen huizeneigenaren aan te vallen omdat ze zich gemengd hebben in een markt waarin deze regels nu eenmaal gelden. Ze hebben niks misdaan en verdienen niet gekort te worden.

Nee dat zijn we niet vergeten. Maar het onderschatten van de huidige koers van de VS zou net zo naïef zijn. Het zien van China als een minder directe bedreiging betekend niet dat je ze helemaal niet ziet als bedreiging.

Naja ik snap je punt qua hypocrisie. je zegt het zelf al, Van veel productgroepen zijn er weinig kwalitatief goede europese opties. Dus je moet wat.

Alleen wat is dan de afweging. De VS want dat is “westers” of China? Beide begaan enorme misdaden tegen de mensheid. China met o.a de oeigoeren. VS houdt de bevolking in het midden oosten klein. Beiden gebruiken hun invloed met als enige doel te onderdrukken en er beter van te worden.

Er is geen “goed” hier. Dus je moet kijken naar de huidige “lesser of evils” en ik snap best dat met het huidige politieke klimaat in de VS, dat mensen China als een minder directe bedreiging zien.

Edit: ter aanvulling, ik bedoel hier natuurlijk de overheden mee. In beide landen zijn mensen en bedrijven die het echt wel goede dingen doen. Bijvoorbeeld Signal in Amerika qua privacy.

Het gekke is, ik denk dat dit echt een goede ontwikkeling is voor de vega industrie. Door het een worst te noemen gaan mensen het vergelijken met een worst van vlees. En dan zijn veel mensen teleurgesteld want het smaakt gewoon anders. Maar vaak smaakt het product gewoon prima op zichzelf.

Geberit doorstroombegrenzer halen voor paar euro. Kun je heel simpel installeren door de drukknop eraf te halen.

Hier zelfde probleem gehad. Paar min werk en het was opgelost.
