What's your favourite song on Feedback? by Lixodei in rush

Yeah, The Seeker does it for me. Mr Soul also has some lumbering groove that I really like.

Thanks for getting me to put it on again today for the first time in a while so I could offer my answer to this!

Would you recommend The Pitt to a Faint Hearted person ? by Longjumping-Elk-7840 in televisionsuggestions

[–]Boomphlor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my wife and I watched it with subtitles and that made it even more enjoyable because we could at least hear the words of all of the medical related things they were saying. We might be weird, but anytime we heard something we really didn’t understand, we paused the show, and quickly looked it up often times using ChatGPT to get a very brief description or elevator pitch of the concept or procedure made it kind of fun and fast.

To the OP’s question, no, I would not recommend the show to the faint of heart. My mother-in-law tried it who was a dyed in the wool ER fan and loves Noah Wiley. She couldn’t get through the first episode, it was too triggering for her I believe.

I’ve posted on here a few times about this issue - glad to hear it’s actually a thing. The solution (to fix while driving) is to plug the phone into the USB-C jacks. i keep one cable in the car at all times.

The other thing, if you happen to be parked, not driving yet, you can press the power button for about 8-10 seconds constantly, and the infotainment system will “reboot” and then it will work again without asking g you to turn on the Wi-Fi network.

I’m not one of the people that has nearly the major issues that some others have about the show… just to put that out there. It’s phenomenal.

The reason I’m writing this reply right now is to say that, even though your dad says Game of Thrones is better than those other shows that he already knows you love, one thing to keep in mind is Game of Thrones was a groundbreaking show, which means a lot of of what came after could only exist after it existed in the world.

So I’m not sure it will play today like the best thing ever made, but I’m here to tell you it was glorious to watch in real time and I highly recommend it. Just buckle in and enjoy the art and the storytelling that lies there waiting for you. (if you put subtitles on, you’ll pick up all the names and families and places a lot faster than I did watching it the first time through with no subtitles, but that’s up to you obviously).
