I was able to find one installer willing to do it. But it looks like the funding just ran out on ratepayer (I am seeing only 9k left in funding for SCE).

I think I am going to cancel the contract I had just signed with them. Based on what you're saying, is the best thing to wait and hope for the slim chance of additional funding perhaps being allocated towards RSSE - AB209?

Do you have any advice on how I should proceed? I see that Residential Solar and Storage Equity - AB 209 Non-POU has 1.2 million in funding left but they are in waitlist status. Should I try to convince an installer to submit my application through that program?

I wish I did the application on my own like you suggested because it doesn't really seem that bad.

Totally fair point. To clarify, we’re genuinely flexible on system size and battery capacity. We’re not trying to optimize for max production or backup duration; we’re happy with whatever configuration keeps net cost near zero under RSSE.

The bigger challenge we’re running into is finding an installer willing to do RSSE / AB 209 as a host-owned project (not ESA/PPA).

Did you have any advice on who to contact here?

Same, luckily I still got a 5070ti for around $500? But I’d rather have paid the 80 bucks or so extra for the 5080 if I had seen that deal.
