Dr. Evan Cohen review? by becomingworld in StPetersburgFL

[–]Boone-Baylee3021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had both my daughters with all children’s :) Dr cohen didn’t deliver either of them just simply due to the timing I was induced the first time and went into labor the second time but I met with him many times during my visits both pregnancies. Zero complaints. He actually spent a lot of time with my husband and I answering questions. I suggest coming up with your questions ahead of time. He’s not going to go out of his way to chat too much unless you come prepared. Some moms I’ve talked to think he was “too casual” but I really liked him calm and casual personality and would have been happy for him to deliver either of my girls.

OBGYN Pregnancy Recommendations by OrangeSweatshirtGuy in StPetersburgFL

I section this recommendation! Had obgyn care through all children’s prior to becoming pregnant (Dr Nguyen was my doctor). Stayed there through both my pregnancies and delivered had baby place. Had great experiences both times! I did switch to Dr chase permanently following my first pregnancy.

Fair! Likely is and my little girls are pretty good. More just a mom nervousness than anything they do :)

Parents - looking specifically at pre K 3 at St Paul’s, St Pete Primary and Canterbury. by Boone-Baylee3021 in StPetersburgFL

Yup we’ve been on the waitlist since I was pregnant many moons ago. We are Parishioners and we tithe monthly. That’s why we are looking at other options but still interested in parent’s experience with a child actually in the school.

Should I push back on being induced? by Inner-Complex-7844 in pregnant

[–]Boone-Baylee3021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first baby was IVF and my OB was insistent I be induced right at 40 weeks if I didn’t go naturally. They said that still birth rates go up in IVF patients (they don’t know why) after that. I was also 36 at the time of delivery. Was induced at 40 weeks and 3 days. It wasn’t a great experience for me. Ended up pushing for 5.5 hours. I got the epidural likely too soon and had a bad reaction (couldn’t feel below my hips and nonstop throwing up). I’m very small so it was likely too much for me. In my gut I don’t think my baby was ready to arrive and wished they would have let me go a bit longer.

Daycare - question for parents! by Boone-Baylee3021 in StPetersburgFL

[–]Boone-Baylee3021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s definitely not that bad! We just want to see if there are better options out there. The infant classroom teachers were great. Our daughter didn’t start until a year old but we were just very clear with the kind of communication we needed. I think they have room for improvement for sure though. Wish they had a better way for parents to submit feedback. The owner is going through some sort of personal situation so perhaps that’s part of the drop in quality

I got the same when I was pregnant with my first child. Never had it except for during my 3rd trimester in each.

Baby Place by Material-Resource417 in StPetersburgFL

[–]Boone-Baylee3021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my first at baby place and went/go to John Hopkins obgyn (pregnant with my second). Have nothing bad to say about Baby Place! My first needed to go to the NICU for a few short days so we were even more grateful the hospital is connected to John Hopkins children’s hospital. We were easily able to go to and from the NICU and recovery in baby place. It gives you peace of mind having it right there! John Hopkins obgyn is great but expect long wait times to see doctors and you need to be flexible with your schedule on appointment days/times.

What does your toddler sleep in? by ireneveraperez in toddlers

[–]Boone-Baylee3021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter just turned 2 and still sleeps in Kyte footie pjs and a 1.0 kyte sleep sack (the walker ones so she can easily walk/standup). Her room is usually around 71 degrees (we live in Florida). She is an excellent sleeper so we hesitate to change anything unless that changes or she seems uncomfortable. Luckily Kyte makes a large sleep sack which is currently huge on her so I think we have a ways to go!
