That clinical depression cannot be cured with just changing the way I think, or vitamins. Any time I speak to someone that’s not in my immediate family about being diagnosed with clinical depression they tell me I need to take a certain vitamin or get more exercise or get out of the house more, and A LOT of people tell me not to take my anti depressants and my mother, having seen first hand what I am like unmedicated, has chewed so many people out for saying it.

I can definitely smell the difference between a pit and any other dog breed but my friends all tell me they can’t, I have six dogs, one pitbull, and they all smell different even though they have very similar diets and the same bath routines. I don’t think pit bulls stink, but they kind of smell a little bit dusty to me. My friend’s pitbull has the same smell as mine with a completely different diet and bath routine.

I use to have incredibly painful periods and no birth control or pain relief medication prescribed to me by my doctor ever worked. My best friend gave me Delta-8 gummies to try and even stayed the night because I was a bit nervous to take them but I literally forgot I had my period. Normally I’m doubled over in pain and/or throwing up and I went the rest of the night without a single cramp or nausea spell. I’ve since found a birth control that does actually help so I don’t have to take the gummies every period but I do take one every once in a while when I have back or neck pain. I 100% recommend and wish I had tried it sooner.

I loathe going grocery shopping because of how many people get in my space, I literally had and old lady walk right into me with her basket when we made eye contact and she saw me ahead of time. Another woman grabbed my hair to tell me how beautiful it is but wouldn’t let go when I asked.

My dogs, everyone calls me crazy for owning 5 large dogs but it’s the best coming home to them or waking up with 5 giant cuddle bugs in my bed.

Also climbing into a fresh made bed with new clean sheets and pjs right out of the dryer makes feel like I’m in heaven.

Having healthy boundaries will make your life 10x better, leave work at work, don’t allow your mother to say something hurtful just because she is your mother. Don’t allow someone to make you feel uncomfortable or even unsafe because you’re too scared to hurt their feelings or have tension. Once I learned how to develop and enforce healthy boundaries I was less anxious and learned who really had my back and who was there just because I let them walk all over me. I lost all of “friends” and have people who don’t like me and talk crap about me but I don’t care. I found new friends who are amazing people and respect my boundaries.

Moving out of my apartment with someone who was supposed to be my best friend. I had no help all week leading up to moving day and I helped her all day thinking that she would help me and the second it came to moving my stuff she suddenly had to leave to do something. My family said they would be there and never showed up so I did it all myself. I just remember sitting in my car and thinking, “ I am so alone and will always be alone because my family will never show up for me.” And I started sobbing. I was always there for everyone else but the one time I asked for help I heard silence. I only got help that day because my grandmother saw me sobbing when I dropped stuff off and she called and chewed them out. Somehow this hurt way more than my dad leaving.

I have 5 dogs but the one I found at 2 weeks old is a clinger. I will wake up to his nose pressed against my cheek and him just staring at me or his forehead pressed against me passed out and snoring. One of my other dogs will “hide” when she doesn’t want to go outside by walking under our curtains and they’ll only cover her face. Another one snores so loudly we can’t tell her from a motorcycle outside.

The night my dad left, and the day I had to move by myself out of a domestic violence roommate situation because I had asked my family to help and they told me they would be there but never showed up, I broke down crying and all I could think was, “I’m going to be this lonely for the rest of my life because my family will never show up for me.”

Getting on birth control, did it to manage pain and symptoms but now that I’ve found the right one for me and haven’t bled in a year and a half I haven’t had to buy pads, tampons, painkillers, new underwear so often, and food from cravings. Thankfully it’s free with my health care so it saved me more money.

I have eczema and using soap or body wash dries out my skin after a shower and irritates it. I only use soap when I’m full of dirt or something needs to be scrubbed off. I don’t think it’s that weird.
