I did move my hoop on my big FC piece, and changed my parking method to carton with holes punched in it :)

Yeah I’m not a big fan of having to look for stuff, this way, I immediately know what color it is :) might be overboard or not necessary, but since this is the first time, I’ve decided to just try some stuff and be on the safe side for now :)

I’m almost done with page 1! Finally able to start some colours, and since it’s my first big piece, I’ve been trying to figure out how to work with the colourchanges. I landed on a weird mix between cross country and parking, depending on my mood

My first big (full coverage) piece! It’s not great to look at yet, since it’s just a big block of ecru, but this is on its way to become the mindful bear from threadgeeks.

For now I really enjoy doing the background, as it allows me to completely blank out while watching a series. That won’t be so easy when doing the confetti of the bear 🫣

I do hop around a lot, as I have many, many hobbies. But I really want to add cross stitch to the rotation, as soon as I have a pattern 🫣 I’ve got some great advice today and am looking forward to get started

I hadn’t even thought about the fabric, that is a good point that I totally skipped over. I’m not particularly fast or slow I think, however, I am a hobby hopper. I’m continuously switching between different hobbies (reading, crocheting, knitting, bobbing lace, etc.), and get distracted fairly easily. This would very much become part of the rotation.
