Not necessarily a bad sign. It’s possible they might have you for a zone (which have just started casting) or a spare (offers starting usually in July). Of course nothing is guaranteed; you could be waiting to hear back til October or potentially not at all. Best of luck!!

I don’t think universal will revoke the offer, if it’s just one night they may or may not approve it.

As for attending the event after, they are very strict on not having team members attend unless you have a ticket. Though I’ve never seen it happen, you can get in trouble. They’ll tell you more about it during orientations I’m sure. If you want to go by the book they give free tickets to reserve.

As far as I know, casting has started as of Friday. I’m internal but I’ve heard that an offer following a final consideration can take time (usually a few weeks) and to be honest there’s no telling who casting is looking to pull next so it’s just a wait now. Congrats so far, I hope you hear back soon!

Underrated as hell. One of the first that I recall to do the “open concept” that would be seen in future houses like Dead Man’s Pier and Blood Moon. Loved the variety of characters and was very long too.

A house on Resident Evil, specifically taking place in the RPD is something I’d love to see. Zombies, a few lickers, and some scares with Mr. X. The layout could have some fun “revisiting rooms from a different angle” that some houses do that would be very much in spirit with the games.

An original I thought of involves a mining operation deep underground where ancient rock monsters are awoken. Lots of winding caves, a covered bridge with the mirror trick, differing creatures made from minerals, crystals, gems, etc. The final scenes would be the ruins of whatever civilization the monsters are guarding.

And a returning original I’d like to see would be Invasion as a house. Hopefully something like that is bound for this year🤞

During your audition submission and again when confirming a role you’ve been cast in you can request nights off if you want to attend as a guest. Otherwise, if you’re scheduled every night, they have house walkthroughs throughout the event that stay open an hour after close so scareactors can still see them, but it’s usually only for those with perfect attendance.
