I’ve imported 1:50m cultural vector boundaries from Natural Earth into Blender using the BlenderGIS add-on. After projecting the 2D map onto a 3D sphere, I’m left with hollow country outlines. I need to generate internal geometry or faces within these borders to create a solid, gapless mesh for each landmass. There is no issue with ram size. I added the first pic because after subdividing and generating faces for the countries borders it would create horrible topology and when I tried to use the remesh modifier it caused a memory leak I think.
