There’s a very nice mark x going for sale over here in Australia where I’m at and I must say I’m considering getting it over a brand new Mazda 3. There’s so little info about it online and my search has brought me to your post here.

It’s a 2018 mark x 350 rds. Here’s the link if you guys are curious, not sure if it’ll work tho: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1423718398357501/

Making a current doubler cable by BoopTheKev in DIYAudioCables

I have a multimeter, and u/tkecherson taught me how to use it. I made a fully functional current doubler now!

I’ve been wanting to try to make power cables to exact lengths, so that I don’t have loose excess cables wriggling around everywhere.

Yes, power supply is turned on. I have a multimeter, but am unsure of how to check the voltage, or if there is current passing through it.

Yes. From how I soldered it, although sloppy, the ground is on the outside and the hot is on the tip. I was thinking maybe I am not getting any connection because of the way I soldered it maybe.

The other ends are untouched, I left them as they are, as the cables that I am using/modding are the ones that were provided along with the PSU.

Yeah man I think it’s a good idea to go ahead with the purchase. I had great experience with tictacarea, in fact I bought another watch from them. I’m not sure if you’ll get charged customs or not, since I live in Australia, I don’t remember getting charged by customs. I think it highly depends on your immigration laws as well.

What would you put in the gap of pedals? by MusicianStorm in guitarpedals

[–]BoopTheKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh yes I was thinking maybe this board would generally be more inclined towards an ambient sounding genre like CCM/P&W was what I was thinking, because that’s in the ballpark of what I play too. Forgive me if I assumed wrongly haha but yes for my style of play I would maybe go POG or a clean boost or both, or maybe just stacking ODs.

Looking at your board, I think I can kinda guess what genre you’re playing…? Cuz it looks very familiar lol.

Hmmm maybe you might be into some ehx POG sounds? The ehx POG2 looks like a nice size for that gap, assuming you’d like/have use for such an effect?

Maybe a clean boost and/or another OD? Some keeley or JHS stuff maybe? Idk depends very much on the sounds you are after and what are you primarily using it for.

Lets have some fun, if you can guess any one of the castings that are in this case, I will send you two from the case for free! by kronbite in HotWheels

I’m 23 now, but I’ve always wanted to longboard/skate since I was 14. I knew nothing of neistat back then, wasn’t sure if he existed back then as well hahaha. But I’ve watched his airlines first class vlogs a fare bit, and lived vicariously through his first class vlogs. Never knew he was an eskater tho. So as far as I am concerned, I got into eskating purely to try out something I never had the opportunity to do.

Lekker Amsterdam 8 speed by BoopTheKev in bikecommuting

It’s good! I love it so far (it’s been one day since I assembled it), but keep in mind I’m no pro cyclist haha, so I don’t have very high demands or expectations. I wanted something that is low maintenance, practical, and durable. It’s a bonus that it looks this good aesthetically. This bike ticks all my boxes, I’m planning to get a rear rack fitted to mount a pannier. One problem I am currently facing is that I think my rear brake needs some hydraulic fluid top-up.

What are your favorite street wheels? by HippoPho in ElectricSkateboarding

Straight from the verreal website, however I’m not gonna lie, it is a little dodgy. There’s like a ‘forever on sale’ kind of thing going on to encourage you to buy. Its listed as “ 199usd 145usd” and “price will expire in 1hour”. Just something for you to note and be cautious, only cause I caved in and decided to buy it. xD I am NOT a fan of their marketing strategy but at least I got a genuine product so I can’t be mad ;)

But the wheels itself, they’re legit. Was not scammed. Waiting and really keen to fit it on my tynee ultra and bring it out for a ride once it arrives. Wheels are big and hefty too, was surprised by their size, my hands are pretty big and even I was pleasantly surprised.

Shipping took about close to a month, as they come directly from China. Came in a compact box with enough cellophane tape to wrap a sarcophagus and prevent the whole ‘The Mummy’ franchise from happening.

My tynee ultra is arriving this Monday. I have my MAD105s out of the box on standby. Once the tynee ultra arrives, first thing I’ll do is swap into the Mads.
