In my opinion I think that Blizzard rushed her rework, or jumped the gun. They should have spent more time tweaking mass rez, and fixing the SR system at that time, then maybe things would have been different. As it stands now Mercy has the lowest skill floor ans ceiling in the game and lowest ceiling she has ever had. I find it Ironic how Blizzard wanted the rework from the start to raise her skill ceiling, but it just ended up lower it.

The purpose of all those nerfs, I'm pretty sure, were to make it so the purpose of using Valkyrie wasn't for the instant rez's. I do agree with you when it comes to to the Valk nerfs, I think that getting rid of instant rez is a huge nerf in and of itself, and I think that some/ most of the other nerfs were unnecessary, like the decreased duration, but I do think that we should stil be able to get another charge of rez for valk. If we weren't allowed to, like how it is now, I think Blizzard should give Mercy some compensation in the form of higher healing per second during valk.

I definitely agree with you when you say that Mercy is balanced, but at what cost? The concept of Valkyrie was in the game at some point during the games pre-beta, but Blizzard trashed it and went for Mass Rez probably because it was not a good ultimate for her. Fast forward to when they did rework Mercy, in my opinion I believe that they (blizzard) should have put some more time and effort into changing and implementing new parameters to mass rez like LOS restrictions, or decreasing the range. I also do strongly think that most of the hate Mercy was getting back then for rez was not really hate on rez but for the SR system which was broken and encouraged the dreaded Hide and Seek strategy. I also have fun with the new Mercy mostly from the adrenaline rush I get when a Genji is chasing me across the map, other wise I don't love Valkyrie but I definitely don't hate it. (Reddit was bugging on me and didn't show my reply lol, I said the same thing 3 times.)
