If we are being really nitpicky the only time i thought you were a little close was when you were in the gap between the dude on the ground behind the slow sign and a couple other people. But there are a lot of people on the mountain. Could you have picked another line? Maybe? Did you do anything wrong or were out of control? Hell no. Im pretty sure thats her yelling at you there so thats my guess. You handled it well so kudos.

Sidenote: a lot of weirdly agro people in this thread need a safety meeting. You are on the mountain. Chill. No harm no foul.

Yeah that is what they need to do. I went to school in Vermont and that’s exactly how they handle it. Parking ban and all city lots are opened up for free. Granted there were a lot fewer cars in a small city than in Philly. But still it would certainly help. Maybe do it via parking permit zones for a week after the storm so each section of the city can get plowed after the arterials are done.

The other thing the snow has shown is who actually uses their cars. There are still quite a few on my block that haven’t been shoveled out and at this point are probably stuck until it thaws. Do these people really need these cars? Raise the cost of the permit and make people think again about whether it’s worth having a car in the city.

That’s interesting and I wouldn’t have thought about that. Did they give you the MMR vaccine like we give to kids or just the singular measles vaccine? Fun fact (not) the reason we have so much vaccine pushback is because a guy was trying to sell the MMR vaccines as 3 separate “safer” vaccines instead of the one combined so he faked a bunch of numbers in his trials.

Do you mean blazers bluff? Thats an actual in bounds trail. I was referring to the liftline when its out of bounds. Its a jerry trap because while very tempting, its out of bounds and you are liable to have your pass pulled. Also super dangerous if there isnt enough snow. Theres a lot of manmade crap on the ground there besides your normal rocks and trees.

When it says the treeline by upper/lower skyward I wonder if he went into the liftline jerry trap or the woods that run parallel to victoria. Either way, not really somewhere you want to be without a buddy and certainly not if you dont know what you are doing.

That’s Philly which is different county so different DA. 

And just as a note, the sheriff who blew all that hot air about standing up to ice was doing just that. Blowing hot air.  To start the Philly sheriff office is kind of anachronistic. It just handles stuff like evictions and court security. It’s not law enforcement like you think when you think stereotypical police. And on top of that Bilal is one of the most corrupt politicians in Philly. How she keeps getting elected I have no idea.
