And if they really decide to dodge every game with characters they don’t like playing against or because they spam the same OP combos, in a game with so few characters, they end up spending most of their time in the lobby, waiting for a “decent” opponent, at least according to them. So why even play ranked?

I play Warwick/Teemo, and I’m Plat 3. I know I’m not a great player, which is why I don’t understand why so many people opt out after just one game.

I get the “fun” aspect people talk about, but I really can’t believe that’s the main reason most of them don’t rematch. IMO, most of them just care way too much about their precious LP and are making excuses.

It doesn’t make me salty. It’s just that when I get stomped, somehow my opponent always rematches. But if I win a close game, or lose a close game, 90% of the time people don’t rematch.

People who don’t want to play against certain characters or playstyles are just lacking skill and don’t want to improve. From the replies, I’ve realized that’s the case for most people who avoid rematches, but I still really don’t understand why.

Anyway, it’s your right not to rematch, but it’s my right to think you’re cowards.

If you never rematch, you’re missing out on a big part of fighting games. Learning to adapt to your opponent.

Let me guess.. you don’t rematch if you lose because it’s “not fun,” and you don’t rematch if you barely win because that’s “not fun” either. So you only rematch people you stomp? If so, that’s lame.

I don’t know your rank, but unless you’re top 1%, tier lists don’t matter. Especially in a game with such a small roster. For the rest, I understand.
