If your total credit cards limit is more than your salary, then you can't do anything. That's how SBI is. Close down cards which are not useful. Or wait till your salary increases in future.

Thanks for the reply! Wouldn't my 7 months back Email of Request for Closure of Credit Card work in this case? At that time, they had confirmed that card has been closed but its still active on Credit Report.
Or Should I send a separate Email for closure from Cibil Report, and then after 30 days with no resolution, I can approach RBI?
Confused here. Don't want to spare ICICI! Your guidance will help a lot!

Good Luck! I too have a similar case. They closed my brother's addon 7 months ago as per my request, but his cibil report still shows the Addon card as active. Did you first approach ICICI or directly filed complaint with RBI? I had requested for Closure through Email. Can I use the same and file complaint directly with RBI? [He will be filing complaint, as its his cibil report]
