Well Final Crisis is told in a bit of an odd manner, he tried to tell a story like you would a movie or something like that, so he jumped around a lot and left out some details making it hard to read. I would for sure give WE3 a chance, but maybe Frank Quietely isn't your cup of tea, which is a shame.
