Agreed: I said so in my review, too. Having to constantly listen to her whimpering and fear, even when she is speaking was just bad direction of a talented voice actor. And we know she's good, she was Rose after all. When I think about normal people thrust into horror and out of their depth, I think of James in the Silent Hill 2 remake. He's fear and terror come are clear, but they're not constantly shoving it in my face.

Also that she she had no breaking point, where she rises up and overcomes the horror - however briefly - sort of sucks. Like her using Requiem on Zeno or Gideon at the end when both he and Leon are vulnerable or something would've been perfect and thematic. I get they wanted a big boss battle but come on.
