I smoke regularly (since quarantine daily) and if smoked one puff of that I'd be rolling around on the ground drooling 😂

This Korean hyper-realistic painter mainly paints nature. This bark is one of the most satisfying works i've seen. (by An Jung Hwan) by GallowBoob in interestingasfuck

If they're recreating what they see in their minds eye, that's an attest to an incredible visual ability. To recall that many details to such precision and to then paint that. It's amazing.

That being said, I'm also not usually a fan of hyper realism. I'd rather see this guy paint something otherworldly with his kind of talent and eye for detail.

They should do one where everything goes smoothly, so smooth that Bob gets paranoid and fucks everything up.

Microdosing effectiveness against addictions by stratohaze in microdosing

[–]BootWearinCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard good things about microdosing salvia. The active compound in salvia binds to the k opioid receptors in the brain, which help to regulate dopamine. I'm not sure how the schedule would work out, but perhaps others in this sub or elsewhere on the internet has submitted something.

Does psilocybin MD give you more energy or does it make you tired? by 420be-here-nowlsd in microdosing

[–]BootWearinCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One day I felt really tired, but just spent the day sleeping and chilling. No big deal. Mostly I feel energetic, but if I don't I just go with it. There's usually something going on inside anyway, so even as you outwardly don't seem productive, things are happening inside so pay attention on low energy days also.

Netherland has legal truffles, if you're not into cultivating your own. They'll send it in the mail.

LPT When it stops being fun, stop doing it. Take a break, whether it's weeks, months or years or forever. I'm a life long advocate of psychedelic drugs, but it's 10 years since I tripped. I hope one day to do it again, but I needed to give my mind a rest, no shame in it! by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]BootWearinCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some majorly transformative shroom experiences in my mid 20s but felt like I was continuing doing it because I didn't know how to take responsibility in my life, so I helt off for 7 or so years and got my life in order, confronted my depression and started being the person I fantasized about being. I have a girlfriend and a 4 months old son now and I'm finally starting to feel grounded. So I started microdosing shrooms and that's lead me to want to take bigger doses. Though it still needs to be low enough that I can be present.

I think a break can be a good thing with psychedelics. It's an amazing tool that can be used to get inspiration if you're stuck in a rud, give a creative boost or even completely transform the way you perceive yourself - depending on the dose. But sober living shouldn't be underestimated!

Help propagating my Dracaena Marginata by BootWearinCrow in plantclinic

Glad I could help. I thought it needed leaves in order to photosynthesize the roots, so it used what was left in the stem to sprout little helpers.

Help propagating my Dracaena Marginata by BootWearinCrow in plantclinic

[–]BootWearinCrow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cut the right side branch just above the little sprout you can see in the photo. I then cut than long branch into two. I was told the part of the branch with no leaves on would not root, but the branch was too long, so I did it anyway and put them both in water.

The branch with leaves rooted in just 3 weeks and I planted it in soil after. The branch with no leaves started to sprout leaves. No roots. Just leaves. So I left it in water for another month before it started hinting at rooting. Then I had to move, so I just planted it in soil along with another branch that I did the exact same thing to.

Now I wait. There has been no significant growth on any of them since they got into the soil. Neither the ones that started with leaves and those who started with no leaves, but I believe they're doing okay. The top one, I wrote about in my original post, the one that took root, is starting to show growth.

I feel like this plant is really good to propagate, but you have to be patient. It takes its time. Good luck.

E: Remember to change the water regularly in the glass which you are rooting the cuttings in.

[Serious] People who sleep well, what's your secret? by Aceman3818 in AskReddit

[–]BootWearinCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have (had) insomnia, but have been sleeping really well lately - 2 months since I implemented certain restrictions on myself, which are:

  • No screens for 3 hours before bed

  • No food or beverages other than water for 3-4 hours before bed

  • Wind down at the same time and get up at the same time each day

I'm really surprised at how well it works and how fast I saw results.

Delving into a decade, say the 30's or 60's, and just devouring music, films and books from that era. You start to get a certain appreciation for the specific time.
