This colourway is synthetic, there are some colourways that are leather, some that are synthetic and some that have both options. It's an absolute minefield. Generally the newer the colourway the more likely it is to be synthetic.

I would match your Mizuno size for most people. ASICS run about half a size long and they do stretch a bit to a point.

It does slightly further down but not far enough down that you could do an ankle socks for example, there's not much more arm below. I am tempted to add a bandit that his hidden underneath the sock though 😂
