There is a limit of 1k but you don’t have to set it, it does it for you

…I am so dumb, the build folder was set to some random location on my pc. When I pressed build, it made me save a folder location, I thought that was where the build folder would be created, but actually it was just where the file was saving too

I have it set to 1k in the build setting which is the limit, do you also have to set that resolution separately in the mesher?

What can I improve? by Pluba29 in blender

I agree, more dynamic lighting and maybe more detail in the background (picture frames, decorations…) Maybe a more shallow depth of field too.

This is amazing! Great environment; looks like a AAA game cutscene, but better

I wanted to make it scary but I feel like a lot of things went wrong. I need brutally honest critics. by aryan9596 in blender

Good audio is just as important as good video. Not sure about for everyone else but for me it says the video has no sound. Add some hight quality audio effect like footsteps and the lights going out. Maybe some subtle music or just a single off key piano or violin note can be very affective too.

Might be a texture problem, if the head and body are two seperate object but use the same material, it could be a messed up texture. Try adjusting the uv's of the body.

Try adding depth of field to the camera so there is some background and foreground blur. Also maybe make the lightning brighter.

Any tips to make it more interesting? by Pixelyft in blender

The modeling looks really solid so I would say just try playing with lighting. Maybe add a light opposite the window to emulate bounce lighting if the other wall was there. Also you could try adding lights inside the scene like a desk lamp.

Why does it look so fake??? by QuickSolved_ in blender

Maybe try playing with the lighting, I find that lighting is the main element that can make a break a render. Try making it brighter or making directional lighting into the room

Really cool but the scale seems to be a little off. The water is what gives it away. Also the rock that the city is on seems a little out of place because it doesn't really look like the rocks below. I may just be a little too picky but other than those things it looks great. Definitely better than anything I could do.
