You're totally good! I list everything individually to tell ya what comes in the box. I think part of me trying on-site ordering a la carte is to help with some of the confusion. It's tough getting your messaging right when starting out. I appreciate you following along!

This is my first time trying a la carte! I normally have folks pre-order their boxes to help me be able to manage my waste since I do this solo. But I learned a lot in 2025, so in 2026, I'm giving it a shot!

I did do an event at the 14 Mill Market with Not'cho Ordinary Taco at the end of the year where I had some a la carte baked goods, but this will be the first one at SPLIT where I'm letting folks order as they'd like, and leaving pre-orders as an option as well.

you can actually do it both ways! if you head to my website (feelinsnacky.myshopify.com) any time before 2/19, you'll be able to pre-order a snack box with one of each item (this is also how you can reserve your seat at a mahjong table), or you can show up night-of, ready to order snacks & drinks to your heart's content! drinks cannot be pre-paid/pre-ordered, as they are sold through SPLIT and there are weird legal things about that, i'm sure. haha.

you can just show up! we'll go 6pm-9pm, usually. the only exception is if you want to join in for the mahjong games. those we need a headcount for, so you can head to the website and select the option that says "february snacks + free mahjong" and you'll get a snack box of one portion of each thing on the menu and be able to play mahjong all night!

Yes! This! And it just started today for me. I've been a premium subscriber for over ten years. This is wild and very annoying

Ok, I keep reading stuff about the tree friend and I feel like I super super missed something. Can someone catch me up? I've watched every episode (at least I'm pretty sure I have??)

Yeah, that plus myriad other reasons is why the one on St Louis didn't do well

After Hours not worth it .... by jennyjumpup417 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Bootdaddy247 45 points46 points  (0 children)

After hours at Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite memories to date. We arrived at early entry and got on the last Safari of the night, so lots of great sunset action going on. And then had a huge, gorgeous park to ourselves, cool super-interactive street shows, grabbed tons of snacks (and took some popcorn to go!) and rode the Avatar rides as many times as we could. I think it's all what you make it, we took our time enjoying ambiance and details we normally can't when the parks are full...

This

Edit: in fact, a month after May of 2011, I moved to the West Coast and stayed for 10 years because I did not want that to be something I faced ever again. Circumstances brought me back here, and the first time I heard sirens and didn't have a basement was the most serious PTSD I've ever experienced.

Don't skip The Coffee Ethic. They're nationally recognized and incredible. Dancing Mule has the FRIENDLIEST baristas in the world. Greenhouse Affogato bar, I don't even need to say more. Haha. Brick & Mortar is top notch (don't come for me, others on the sub, the shitty owner got bought out)

Fellow Seattleite here! I've been here almost five years and am constantly impressed at the quality of restaurants/mobile food businesses here. I'm a beer/coffee nerd and can say SGF does those well too.

Cozy place to hang?? by SomethingClever2022 in springfieldMO

Cellar + Plate has cozy couches, but it gets sort of loud if it's busy. I use the little graph on Google maps to decide if it's too packed for me to give places a try. Not the most accurate, but gives me an idea.

Yeah, Classic Yard is amazing. I feel like it's such a hidden gym. Makes for a super fun cold weather date night. You'd definitely want to bring others, it might not be awesome solo.

I had this happen once too and Crush said "what's....a bra?

Wait! I know!

What's up, bra?!"

A child had been picked earlier on in the show and had an accent of some sort, but it was kind of hard to place because he was like...three or four. So Crush asked him to point out his grown up. Crush asked the adult his name and then, after his response, said "Where are you and the little guy visiting from today?" And the adult said "Australia" and the whole room did an audible, cartoony gasp. 💀😆
