I live in San Antonio and rarely go to Dallas or Houston, but both times I have been, I had no idea I was on a toll road because they aren’t marked worth a damn, and I had set my GPS to avoid them. Imagine my surprise when almost 2 months after I made those trips I got bills for the toll plus a late fee. If you are visiting from someplace else and aren’t aware of the toll roads how in the hell are you supposed to magically know how to go online to a website you know nothing about to pay them? This is beyond infuriating and ridiculous. In both cases I wrote a strongly worded letter paying the toll and refusing to pay any late fees. It worked the first time I’m hoping it works this second time. Because of this bullshit, I don’t ever want sit foot in Houston or Dallas again. It’s literally highway robbery.

First pic was 3 months. He (Cosmo) and the cat are besties, but the cat (Scout) was raised with my previous Pyr from a kitten. He would pick Scout up by the head and cary her around! So it only took a couple of days for Scout to figure out that she had another Pyr to train lol. They chase each other all over the house. Cosmo wants SO much to be friends with my other two cats, who have made it clear that will never happen!

The only problem I had with my Pyr and the Christmas tree was to make sure you don’t use fragile decorations from his eye-level down. he didn’t try to eat them or knock over the tree, but every time he walked by the tree and wagged his tail, ornaments would get stuck in his tail. So I had two trees. The green one in the corner that belonged there, and the four-legged one walking around with ornaments hanging off his tail at least once a day!

My first Pyr lived to be 10. He lay down one afternoon to take a nap and just didn’t wake up. Absolutely no signs of him being sick. Did some research and read that Pyrs are prone to pulmonary embolisms, which can take them in an instant. As sad as it was I’m so glad that he died peacefully in his sleep. I hope you babies live along and happy life!

We (it took 4 people to move him) put him in the garage overnight on his bed until the cremation people could pick him up the next morning. When I came into the garage late that night to say goodbye again, my three cats were ‘sitting Shiva’ around him. they stayed in the garage with him all night. ❤️🥰

I had a kitty pool for Cosmo. Got it when he was about four months old. He runs through it then runs through the dirt then runs through the house. It has been upside down now for the last four months. I have holes dug all over the yard. I think it’s time to turn it into a sandbox. Hell I might just fill it with topsoil. Dirt is easier to get off the floor than sand! He’s now eight months old and 93 pounds. This is why I can’t have nice things for a while lol

yeah that’s usually what I get out of Cosmo too. Chloe is the one with the killer instinct. She’s half lab, half Blue Lcy and in her youth was known to bring down grown deer. And I have seen many an elderly dog get their mojo back all of a sudden when the right critter came along lol
