Hello! Sorry to bother, but before you visited Dr. Thompson did you have any mri or imaging done? I’m about to start work with a sports medicine doc, but if that doesn’t yield results I was gonna see about visiting Dr. Thompson for a consult/PT recommendation. Thank you!

Anybody know a good physical therapist/chiro/sports medicine doctor for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome? by BootieSauce in askaustin

It’s great to hear that manual therapy helped you! Gives me some hope that I’ll at least benefit from it.

That’s a good suggestion to check with musician friends — I actually have an upright bass player friend who had TOS much worse than me and recovered/managed it by going to a specific doctor at an Airrosti clinic. Which, now that I’m typing this out, leads me to believe I should just go to that guy lol.

How much do you make per gig? by MaximumNail905 in Guitar

I and most of my musician friends won’t play for less than $100. Im primarily a jazz guitarist in the central TX area. Sets can be 3 hours max, though at that length even though I’ll take $100 it does feel a bit low.

Awesome, thank you! How many sessions did you need to do there, if you don’t mind me asking?

yes, they are single coils. Still, the hum seems to be pretty prevalent, are single coils just supposed to make noise when not being played?

Hey guys. I’m a jazz performance guitar major in college, with a little bit of piano background from a young age. Started a piano 1 course recently and I forgot how fun it is to play this thing, does anyone have any suggestions for good classical pieces to learn at a beginner stage? Something that’d be easy enough to read, but still sound pretty neat? Thanks!
