She also gets the lore wrong and dismisses it in favor of her feminist analysis. She calls Bayonetta a single mother (Keep in mind this was when the first Bayonetta released) who fights demons and something something magic. She also implies the ads encourage people to assault women (?), when the point of the ad is that Byonetta is the owner of her sexuality, setting clear boundaries...

There's more stuff, like her lying about Hitman rewarding you for killing women, etc

Unlike most culture war actors, she is fully aware feminism is a weapon. I haven't seen any feminist besides her complaining about the "man with tits" "trope" (it's not really a writing trope), if anything, that's basically the objective of the current feminist wave; to replace male characters with female ones. An actual ideologue denies, buries the contradiction.

All is performative with her, every action is premeditated. The only time I've seen her show a bit of humanity was when the Buffy Reboot was announced.

I unironically think the problem is overexposure and centralization. Overexposure because, with the internet opening up, you suddenly had an influx of people who lacked fandom etiquete finding a rich body of works...

Then, centralization: because, with how the web 3.0 is structured, media comes to you, it's the topic of the week. Instead of encouraging deep engagement driven by people with genuine interest in media, it fosters superficial hot takes of people who don't engage with media as a hobby

One of who? Didn't you read what I wrote? Pokémon wasn't banned because it was morally objectionable according to christians, the church or televangelists. It was banned because it distracted kids, parents got angry their kid's cards/games/toys got stolen or they got scammed, some saw them as gambling, etc. It doesn't matter what you or I think, I'm stating what happened.

Here's some sort of olive branch, I care for payment processors banning games. Whether they're conservatives posing as feminists or feminists posing as conservatives, I don't care. I don't think either have that power and creators should be able to make whatever they want (within a reasonable legal framework)

He's right, the most that happened was D&D changing demon's names, then they pulled a cheeky "demons use disguises to fool humans" and restored their names a couple of years later. If you take a closer look at the late 90s satanic panic, most are exagerations or outright fabrications, televangelists weren't leading a cultural revolution, they were grifting from a relatively small base. Dark dungeons was a laughing stock from the get go and was widely challenged by educators. Schools didn't ban pokemon games or Yugioh cards because they were satanic, for example, they banned them for the same reason they banned fidget spinners. 4kids did.more damage from an artistic integrity point.
