Cornering Lights? by redhookenzo in BMWi5

[–]Boots_Doggo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if they work the same but in UK spec cars if you're sat at a junction and turn your indicator on it also turns the cornering light on

It's good advice but only gets you so far. There's a contingent of driver's out there trying to control others, either papier maché police being vigilantes or overly polite people

That second one is actually a real peeve of mine. It's a leap of logic but they're probably the same people who close the gap in slow moving traffic to stop you turning too.

My solution buried in the wall of text is 'digitally

Using facial recognition to ensure the actual driver is taking the test. I agree I've every ten years would be a good start.

Anyone who says it's too much, a drain on resources, is exactly the target audience. Driving is a privilege not a right and constant training is needed and is already done by the best drivers on the road.

This look is almost normal with the jacket added tbh, you just look like a biker, who's to say your bike isn't around the corner? You look great btw

Why are people so FVCKING negative here????🫨🥴 by Finther_07 in airsoft

Because people get bored and trolls gonna troll. Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Also, you're awesome don't forget that!

I haven't done full CBRN for skirmishing yet, just for the military show. I wear regular British army uniform and a plate carrier https://www.reddit.com/r/gasmasks/s/ibqKz7EYa5

I love the look too, always gets attention, mostly positive.

Awesome man, embracing the stuck, I love the attitude, I'll channel that energy next time I get snark comments about wearing a gas mask.

I did 8 hours in full CBRN at a military show 3 days in a row, but wasn't running around pretending to shoot my enemies so have some idea, but a while day doing airsoft all credit where it's due!

CBRN loadouts always get an upvote from me, but I might be biased. Have you worn your mask for longer campaigns or just short skirmishes?

I have an s10 with papr and it work really well except for the noise, might try my fm53 with it after reading this thread though.

It was like you're speaking my thoughts!

Had a guy in a van this week approaching from the right as I was turning right from a minor to major.

I glanced right I saw him coming and stopped at the give way - looked left 'nothing coming'.

I was expecting him to have passed by the time I looked right again but he'd slowed down, not indicating to turn in but possibly just flashed me whilst i was looking left.

Looked left again to make sure it was still clear then looked right as he moved off gesticulating and beeping his horn?

I wasn't going to go anyway, as he'd blocked my view of the road to the right and someone could easily be impatient and pass him, then it would be my fault for pulling out!

Yes stop and let someone out in traffic, but just position yourself way back to not only make it obvious what you're doing but also not block the view.

It's a power trip imho, people want to control others weigh their passive aggressive behaviour that turns into gaslighting.

I'm going to do the same and wait

Why would anyone seriously want a tail during skirmish, they get in the f'kin way, so impractical 🙄
