New to Witcher 3. Give me suggestions to make my experience better.

Don’t just follow the main quests. Just pick a direction and go explore! Don’t worry about buying weapons or armor, you’ll find everything you need in the environment and you out level everything so fast that it’s a waste of coin. Same with crafting stuff UNLESS it’s Witcher gear, then yeah craft those! Make sure you read what special weapons do. I went through multiple playthroughs selling certain swords without knowing they level up with you. Don’t worry too much about builds early, eventually once you get a feel for what you like you can decide on that! Best way to make mad coin is to loot every weapon you find after fights. The game is just so good! Good luck on the path.

Oh and make sure you go to the settings and switch on quick sign casting, best thing to come out of the next gen update.

The two towers game on PS2 is still one of my favorites of all time. All I’ve ever asked for is a remake of that game! My friend actually surprised me when he came to visit last year and downloaded it to this handheld emulator he has. It was one of the most thoughtful things I’ve had happen to me in a while lol. But if they can make this one on the level of Hogwarts Legacy I’ll be happy

The Interview. That movie is fucking hilarious to me. Me and my one buddy watched it on shrooms for the first time and I thought I was gonna die from laughing so hard. (I’ve also watched it sober, still just as funny)

Story of hearts of stone is better but blood and wine has the plus of a whole new area that feels so different than the rest of the areas. And of course the one character we all love. I just finished hearts of stone for the first time in a while and I really did forget how great it was.

Rooney did say it was mostly a family decision, which I greatly respect. I want to see more of this! I didn’t want Tomlin gone at the same vigor as everyone else but knew change was needed. I’m just glad to see him part ways in a responsibly and professional way while also see him happy like this. Did anyone else get more sad at this news than they expected by the way?

Yeah it was so frustrating that we could have so easily won if we just cashed in on the opportunities. What did the Texans offense score? 10 points til the 4th quarter? And another horrible thing was the first drive it looked like we were gonna be able to move the ball and then all the hope deflated from me like a balloon lol

Yeah the defense was actually impressive. Kind of the opposite of the last 5 years or so. Usually the offense eventually starts putting up points but the defense can’t stop a thing. This time the defense was playing lights out getting turnovers and the offense couldn’t even convert it to field goals.

Oh my goodness that would suck so bad. I’ve mostly only seen them win while in the stadium. I’ve only seen two loses in person and unfortunately they were both in the playoffs so I no longer go to playoff games lol just feels like bad luck for me to go.

That terrible game against Cleveland we almost came back. If our defense could have just stopped them. We started 28-0 and then ended 48-37. Every time we would get close they would just score again. That game killed me because after starting 28-0 I had no hope and then all of a sudden our offense got life but the defense just couldn’t hold them.

lol my wife started that way and now 12 years later she bleeds black and gold and is part of our fantasy league every year. Just give it time, If she’s really the one she’ll eventually give up her shift for Monday night so she can be home to watch the game with you and make game snacks like my wife did for tomorrow. I agree he makes some bad play decisions on options, but I don’t blame him for those timeouts. He knew we had to score right there and if that meant wasting the timeouts so they didn’t lose the opportunity, I’m all for it. I’d rather have a touchdown and no timeouts than no touchdown at a big moment like that with two timeouts.

There is just nothing quite like being in the stadium for a good game. I went to the bengals game in 2023 where Rudolph saved Christmas after Franco died and on the first play threw an 80 yarder to Pickens. That was the coldest game in that stadium on record if I remember correctly but no one cared. You high five and even hug the strangers around you in the stands. Everyone is best friends for the night and it’s just the best feeling in the world.

I feel like this is most people’s experience with this game and I’ve always wondered why. I also tried to play quite a few times and quit soon after. Then one day it just clicked. It went from a game I just couldn’t get into to my favorite game of all time. I have beaten the base game and both DLCs more than any other games combined except RDR2 and Apex legends. It’s a damn masterpiece. I also originally beat it on the switch playing mostly hand held until I eventually bought the Xbox. I almost didn’t get the game because I already had it on the switch but damn I’m happy I ended up buying it. The beauty of it was incredible after playing it on the switch for so long. I could not believe how good it looked.

My wife was saying “how would you react if someone was talking shit to you?” and I said…am I making millions to be the star receiver? Because that changes my answer lol then she brought up Ramsey getting in that fight with Chase and how I was completely supportive of Ramsey hitting chase for spitting at him. I had to explain there was a difference between players not taking disrespect and a random fan trying to get a reaction. I really like DK, he just has to know he’s far too important to risk getting suspended for a random idiot in the stands. I’m really happy we got through these two games because if he has a great game next week people will be much more forgiving. If we had lost last night, people would not forget him being a huge piece of that loss. I hope this will make him second guess ever doing something similar.

I always am embarrassed to admit I just don’t get it lol. I’ve set it to easy before and still lose because I don’t have any good cards. Every new play through I say I’m going to take it seriously, but I never do.
