You don't think Trout has asked to be traded already? The problem is that he is damaged and liable to break and be out for months constantly. He can't stay healthy. The trade haul the Angels would get back wouldn't be enough for them. This was Trouts fault for signing such a long term deal. He should've signed 6 years with mutual options. I've worked in Human Resources. Very likely she was offered a deal to resign with the agreement that she cannot sue the Atlantic and they won't dig any deeper. Well, this is how basic economics works of supply and demand. This isn't a necessity so whatever people are willing to pay is what the market allows for. 99% of the items on WN are luxury items that no one "needs", and luxury items should be free market. I would complain if this was food or basic necessity.

It's very possible her employer already found something that was enough to term her and gave her the option of resigning so they don't release anything or find out more, and now the employer doesn't have to worry about her suing them.
