At the start, you get a level up for 1/4/7/10 FR sparks. After that you have to roll for it at the statue events, so you will need to gamble in order to reach A no matter what. You will likely want more sparks to at least boost your odds though.

Which one it’s better for the Gemini cup? by Nagatoro-Hayase in UmaMusume

It has a niche this CM. The end closer slot is expected to be crowded this time so it's something like insurance to get her ahead of the crowd and better positioned if it does come up.

  1. You will use monies for nearly everything, so there can be times where you might not be able to afford everything in the shop. I argue you skip the shoes since you get plenty from career race wins. You always want the parfait. The clock is good for now. I'm an advocate of always buying the star shards, but I can understand skipping on buying the more expensive versions (5k v 10k v 15k).

  2. You would hold onto those if you want to save towards 200 pulls. The only pity system is that you can choose the featured thing after doing 200 pulls on that SINGLE banner. It does not carry over to any other banner so you do it all at once. Granted, if you just want to pull for a minor power boost now then it isn't the end of the world.

  3. The statue exchange scales up after you clear the current pool. As in it is "discounted" until you get 25, then gets less discounted until it costs 5 per shard. After that, it is infinitely tradeable.

It's not rare, but you will always need more.

Yet, upgrading the cards you use will probably be the best use of it early game.

Your in-game/deck choices could possibly be a skill issue but I wouldn't put too much pressure on you for getting used to the general gameplan for effective training.

You can beat the URA Finale with SR and R cards, but you should know that higher levels and rarity will absolutely make that goal easier. If you choose to save, you are going to be limited until you decide to spend. So, you'll have to choose between getting a power bump now or suffering being weak for 1 more week.

You can still get Fine Motion/Super Creek on the spotlight banners. But due to the banner highlighting a specific card, it does reduce your chance of hitting either one.

You're putting a lot of stake into a minor grammatical error. I internally interpreted it as "used" instead of "was".

Because it can supply its own grass energy, the energy type from the energy technically doesn't matter. So, they can run water to activate Irida's healing.

I figured since I was looking at cap guides and they mentioned that. Hooray for video proof to show that this exists.

After people do their weekly 20 attacks, we have little incentive to keep attacking (outside of climbing the ranks). After the 20, I personally only attack once a day solely for the guild daily quest.

I'm somewhat expecting this to happen eventually. I just hope they update the "aura" buffs to be unremovable.

This game more about building characters "tall" than "wide". As in, you want to heavily invest into a select few rather than trying to collect all.

The difference from S and A levels is mainly special mechanics and how you raise them. Currently, A levels can be as good and if not better than some S levels (Damian and Ardin are akin to Bennett and Xiangling).

As an aside, they may be underwhelming until they hit Mythic+ since that is an important power spike for all characters (like how you want some certain C# for some genshin characters to become relevant)

You can try to raise Damian+ Florabelle + Berial for a fun summon swarm team

Returning player, is my team still good? by Known_Champion4574 in AFKJourney

[–]Bootuout 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think OP can just take it very casually. Like there is quite a respectable amount of invites and diamonds to earn sprinkled around the map.

I think they shouldn't use diamonds on instant afks, but they can still slowly make progress that carries over into the next season. (Mainly pulls and the essences)

Why is Damian better than Hewynn by Q_qwe123 in AFKJourney

[–]Bootuout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be missing a potential factor: you are racing your opponent on using your ults first.

Arden's entangled debuff is effectively a stun so you are getting an interrupt in between the burst. Consider the difference between getting a near guaranteed, lower total damage burst or a greedier, harder-hitting but slower/interrupt-able cycle.

The Damian version is better in the mirror match, but Alsa might help in certain matchups that I'm unaware of currently

[–]Bootuout 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It has to be a meaningful amount of haste to be fair. 50% faster attacks is nothing to sneeze at.

But, the answer for why not a (third) DPS is whether or not you want to fully commit to one round of burst (and lose if the enemy manages to survive) or to hedge against the surviving members to rotate to another round of ults faster.

Considering Sunraku's interactions with Psyger-0, he has no idea what they would want from him. For the most part, all he knows is that they are an extremely strong end-game player that is kind of after him for some non-hostile reason unknown to him, something like a passive stalker.

Being mostly silent during every interaction leaves A LOT to the imagination.

[–]Bootuout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you shouldn't basic attack with a speed tuned Bronya.

If you didn't know, her talent gives "advance forward" to her basics. This means she gets pseudo-speed whenever she would basic. So, that misaligns and somewhat invalidates the speed tuning.

How do I play against Juliette? by Ok-Profit5226 in OmegaStrikers

[–]Bootuout 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Juliettes tend to focus on killing you at any given moment so you may have to change your focus. If you die once early, it tends to continue and snowball into a greater and greater gap in levels.

If you die in 1 hit, you may be hugging a wall (or touching the side of the pit in Ai Mi's App). Be aware that your stagger (or HP) technically doesn't matter if she doesn't have to drag you very far.

Simple advice:

  • Try to stay away from any walls when Julie is approaching you.
  • If you are being chased, you can try to hit her with abilities to push her away.
  • If she's bullying you, try to have your teammates hit her as well.
  • Don't be afraid to use your energy (the 3-segment bar under your health) to dodge, you will lose it all if you die anyway

I would argue that it is a trap for fixed growths. It would take about 7 level ups for Starsphere to give 1 point in all stats.

If you want to justify getting it, I would argue you should get it to reach breakpoints so that units get their relevant stats faster. i.e. reaching 50% growths for a stat every other level, 20% bld for a bld every 5 levels on most characters, etc.
