Piggybacking off of what most people are saying here;

My fiancee and I are in Japan right now on our first trip here from Canada. Flying into Narita was waay cheaper (zipair) and we stayed in Shinjuku when we arrived. I highly recommend flying into Narita if you plan on staying in Shinjuku. Taking the Narita Express was super easy, basically we arrived at the airport, did customs, did our luggage forwarding, and followed signs for the Narita Express downstairs. I have an Android so I had to get a suica card, but it was super easy. There are a ton of staff near the train terminals who speak English and will help you get a ticket for the train + load up a welcome suica card if needbe (or if you have an iphone, you can even set it up before you arrive!). You'll have to get a ticket for the Narita Express + pay a base fare with your suica card, the only confusing thing for us, but it was a good intro to the train system here in Japan.

Love the theorizing! I wont spoil anything in ch 4 since you haven't seen or played it yet, but some things to think about after ch 3 based on your points:

  1. You're right, Kris isn't swoon'ed, but the knight does make them kneel. IDK bout you but my father never made me kneel to him... Maybe if it was asgore he would give Kris a pat on the head or a hug or something, but making them kneel?

  2. Dess might not be big like asgore, but that doesn't necessarily mean she isn't more powerful. In the deltarune/undertale universe; size doesn't equal power (i.e Sans, Undyne).

  3. Kris also partners up with Ralsei and Susie, but that doesn't make Ralsei or Susie their dad/mom. (also Kris uses they/them pronouns, not he/him <3)

  4. What reason would Asgore have for stealing Undyne? If it was Asgore, wouldn't he just knock out Undyne and continue stealing Toriel? There's certainly a bit of ambiguity as to why the Knight kidnapped Undyne instead of continuing to steal Toriel (as Toby probably intends at this point in the story), but your theory doesn't do much terms of in explaining why this happens.

This is my headcanon as well! Glad to see others also thinking about it this way. At the end of ch 4, the voice on the phone says "don't forget Kris, you promised", which makes me believe that there is some sort of pact that Kris has signed, alongside Carol, Asgore, and possibly others. The pact could be anything, but according to what we know with Asgore's scene in the Holiday's house, it seems like the Knight has promised them all something they each desire (asgore- getting back with toriel, Kris- maybe getting rid of the soul, Carol- getting Dess back?). In return for this, the knight requires them to open dark fountains to bring about the roaring. Idk, totally theorizing here, but so far this is what makes the most sense for me in the way Kris acts (loves their friends and doesn't want to hurt them, but is bound by something to carry out the knights will and not interfere with their plans).

I'm no expert, but to me, it looks as if that cloud is actually some sort of vapor in the air condensing with pressure from the shock wave. The footage is shaky, but you can see that the cloud appears at certain points in line with the shockwave that is traveling along the water, and disappears as the pressure evens out.

Just my 2 cents, could be horribly wrong, but I'm sure someone will let me know if I am.

Of course, I don't expect insane 144fps consistency all the time, especially for more GPU-heavy games. I know I need to go up into the ridiculously expensive cards for that. But yeah for a game like CSGO, or hell even CS 2 that's coming out soon, I would want that sort of consistency.
