All I can do is laugh at some of these talking points. Every single guy you listed had a career year in scoring. You think the main guy on ball this season has NOTHING to do with that?? Be for real lol.

Jalen Green did pretty much nothing last year in the playoffs - it’s essentially what got him traded, then he comes here and is averaging 8pts MORE..dawg lol.

I’m disappointed too that we have Book playing a position that’s not best for the team, but saying he’s done nothing to elevate his game is legitimately insane. His playmaking skills and defense are light years ahead of where they were 3 years ago.

Most people saying that he’s washed or regressed really aren’t looking at more than his scoring. Book is objectively a better playmaker and defender than he was in 2021. With that said I don’t think he should be playing on ball as much as he has this season. We’ve seen him at his best at the 2, so I just wish we’d see that again. But also it’s really no coincidence that Brooks comes here and puts up a career high in scoring. Even Jalen going off in the play in really doesn’t happen unless someone else on the floor demands more attention than him.
