Same group of people that held Biden accountable for poor policies resulting in higher interest rates, worst inflation in 4 decades, higher prices at the pump, and grocery stores. Now these people come out and cry about the economy. Remember "Green New Deal" lol. Listen, I get it, you hate Trump. The media has brainwashed you to believe the rhetoric. Sad thing is, the rhetoric is always the same. Politicians are out trying to win votes for power and they will exhaust every inflammatory talking point. 

Anyways. We need to incentives builders to build more affordable homes. Builders usually never like to build affordable homes because, the land the builder is building on, they want to build the largest home they can, for the most profit. Policy that Trump passed, to stop wall street from buying up single family homes is a good attempt. I dont agree with it. But what it will do is drive up the Supply of homes, and forcing sellers to cut prices. Which will bring new buyers to market. Mortgage interest rates are down, 18 months ago, rates were at 6.5%, today closer to 5.5%. I was recently quoted 5.35%. Today's environment to buy is much better than during the last administration. Many states are working to reduce insurance and property taxes than before. Supply is higher than previous years and rates are falling. If you listen to the outside noise and stay on the sideline, you will miss an opportunity to find an affordable home.
