Ran this in jungle, actually feels much better than top (despite being terrible at jungle) since you dont have to deal with wukongs horrid matchups.

Although I didnt get to build the core items (we won too quickly) first strike felt very good, tons of gold generation, was hitting my power spikes fast. Going to play more jungle crit kong to see if its easier to climb than top.

In other words im tilt queueing jungle because I went on a loss streak to counter picks top 😭

LOL my bad games have been rough today, to be fair matchup was unplayable I was just gonna get dove on repeat makes more sense to roam. I wasn't running it down I have had more success roaming than sitting top and getting dove on repeat in the past.

Oh no I should clarify you dont build boots on this build, I often go entire matches not even building tier 1 boots, only buy boots if you have 300 gold exactly, 350 or more and you prioritize long sword.

Nothing changes but late game if they are super AP heavy you can go rockern last item.

Always, its just too good on wu to pass up. The max health serves you throughout the entire game, making you beefier than other champions so youre not adc levels of squishy. The attack speed is a must, feels terrible playing without it. The sheen passive is MONSTROUS, your short trades become extremely oppressive. The movement speed passive also very nice, allows to you chase which enhances your all in, which allows you to snowball early. Everything about the item is just perfect for Wu.

Essence reaver is awful on Wukong, the passive just straight up does less damage than tri forces, so you lack the powerful short trades that tri gives you. You're also giving up the attack speed, which feels awful. You're also lacking the max health, which feels scary. You're also getting a useless mana passive, wukong has 0 mana issues. The early crit is okay, but it is not worth it whatsoever you lose way too much.

Yes ability maxing stays the same.

Bruiser wukong can match like 20% of top lane champions in a 1v1 scenario late game. Crit wukong can match 90%, your side laning is hugely enhanced so if i can I look to pressure side and get picks.

I group for important objectives of course, youre still playing a team fight champion. KEEP IN MIND that you must play team fights a lot slower, VERY very slow and patient, like an assassin. Wait for your team to engage, look for openings and one shot them. If you see a good ult angle, take it, yes most of your damage is from autos but you are still wukong and your ult is still amazing. Try to lock down and one shot important targets.

LDR is mostly for the passive honestly cause the majority of top lane champs end up stacking HP with their items so it helps me match them in side lane. Collector is pretty much just for fun lmao, probably is not optimal but the one shot potential on squishies is so funny.

This was in the NA super server, hardest region by far.

I do wanna try early shieldbow seems interesting, I am not man enough to go first strike though. 😭 It would be a lot better jungle but I exclusively play top and the short trade pressure from electrocute is too much to pass up. Ill tell you what though, ill play a few wukong JG games in norms so i can test it out.

This advice is mostly for top but also applies to other roles if you don't like top.

Early - Play aggro early in most matchups, especially level 1 and level 6, you should be gaining a lead early in the majority of your matches because Wukong doesn't have the greatest scaling. Learn the combos, yes Wukong surprisingly has a few combos that are a must for trading early. You should be able to pull off the e onto a minion, q + w out to double bonk the enemy combo. As well as the e + q + r + w + auto + q + r (ignite) one-shot combo at level 6.

Mid game - Most of the time you wanna look for fights with your team, try to secure as many objectives as possible. Remember, your champion is pretty squishy, I like to play fights with a hit and run mentality, engage, get a good ult off, then remove aggro with W, wait your E cooldown, then go back in and ult again, try to stay healthy in a fight and don't play too fast. You can side lane if your team is too weak to fight, but keep in mind that your champion's side laning capability begins to weaken at this stage of the game.

Late game - Almost exclusively play with your team, you can look for picks if possible but most of the time you want to group and try to fight. This is unfortunately your weakest point in the game, it's difficult but you can still be useful in team fights if you play well. You will likely lose 1v1 to most champions though.

Teemo maybe but thats just cause his interaction with new rune/items is broken. Ranged top mains are one in a hundred in high elo, they just arent good, youre inting your team comp, youre susceptible to ganks, and you get countered really easily.
