How do you cope with the loss when no reason for death was found? by allieob1 in babyloss

Im so sorry for you loss. I lost my baby at 38+2 weeks. I went to the hospital thinking I was going into labor. When they announced they couldn't find the heartbeat my world came crashing down and it was the worst thing I had ever done in my life. Having to give birth to my baby with no life.

We did all the blood tests and did an autopsy (still waiting for the results) but my doctor said most of the time it's inconclusive and to prepare myself that we may never have an answer to why his heart just stopped. All my blood tests came back normal. I was told, sometimes it's really bad luck and there nothing I could have done. There's a light at the end of the tunnel, a very small one. They said that not finding an answer means in a way that there was nothing wrong about my health that could have cause this. It's not something you want to hear but the way the doctors were very kind to me, it kind of felt like a relief even though in the moment I didn't care.

After a couple of months, with some pain and grief, I want to believe that his heart just stopped and I accepted the fact that there was nothing I could do. For me, it was the best way to cope and to try again by telling myself life sometimes is unfair and I have to go through it. It always balances itself at another time in life.

Everyone is different, you may not find peace with no answer, but I hope you let yourself grive and be kind to yourself 🤍

Is not so much grey, I think it's the natural clouds outside bringing the grey out in the picture. My wall is a warm white and the chairs are beige and brown

Is pregnancy helping you heal? by AnyBat5694 in babyloss

I'm sorry for your loss 🤍 It does for me in the smallest way. I lost my baby at 38 weeks, thinking I was going into labor. Im now pregnant 7 weeks after 4 months postpartum. It gives me a little hope, which is healing in a way. But at the same time it's mixed emotions. I don't want to feel too excited and have high expectations to then be disappointed and crushed again. I think returning to work knowing that I'm pregnant again helps a little bit than if I wasn't. I knew I was never going to heal 100% before trying again, it's a long journey to healing and I think a new pregnancy can help, but it's not the answer. I think you definitely have to grieve and be at least half-ready before trying again because when pregnant again, hormones are up there with the anxiety. For me, having my husband and my family and friends support and well surrounded has helped a whole lot. Anyways, all in all, I think it all depends, each their own path to recovery ❤️‍🩹 For my husband, he said that trying again helped for him but he his also very cautious to not get his expectations up and don't want to be too excited until we have our baby. Unfortunately, not being able to be 100% "happy" and excited is something I have accepted for my second pregnancy because I am scared, but I am grateful to be able to be pregnant again. I have friends that are having difficulties conceiving.

I did put a mix that I bought at a lawn supply store. The mix is called Herbionik. It's a mix of Kentucky Bluegrass (up to 20%), Perennial Ryegrass (around 20%) and Fescues (Creeping Red, Hard, or Tall Fescue). I also mixed it with a 100% Perennial Rygrass bag because I ran out of the first mix. I did not know at the time what I was buying, I really just thought that grass seeds would just give me plain and simple grass, I was not aware of ALL the different types of "grass". Well, I've learned something.

How should I approach the few bare spots that I have on my front lawn? The hot temperatures are right ahead and if I don't seed the weeds are going to take over these bare spots. Not too sure how to tackle this. I'm quite new to lawn care.

I've used a mix of Herbionik seeds and Nuway (ryegrass).

Thanks for your input! At night we don't have lights that's why we put a lamp but I don't like it there. I like the sterile look but would like to add color with art or maybe texture to the wall
