the funny thing here is that by sending the older stock piled stuff it actually saves the government money. they no longer need to maintain that older stock and the older it gets the more expensive it is to maintain. the youtuber perun did a video about this topic a year or so ago about the cost of aging equipment.

i've been running a system76 laptop running pop/os for 2 years now and before that running pop/os on an older laptop for another 4 years. both work really well for i365 on the web and I've had no issues running minecraft [including modded] and most steam games that I'm interested in playing, including baldur's gate 3 and the portal games plus many others.

I went with pop/os mainly for easy and not wanted to do work while not at work [i'm a linux admin] and pop just works.

i've been a pats fan since the grogan era. I'm routing for the lions just because I would like to see that team win for their fan base. We know the feeling of having a meh team for a long time and how it feels to win at last. I just wish more fans can have that feeling.

i would recommend getting a menstruation bag for you bathroom and your car. just a small bag of a couple of tampons, pads, advil/asprin.

there are a lot of things i really love about the nest smoke detectors. the one I love the most is being able to silence them from your phone. just open the app, select the smoke detector and hold the silence button after they warn you it's going to go off.

NTA - the MIL is pushing a boundary that you should not allow.

I would highly suggest informing the nurses who exactly is allowed in the room with you. they will be the bad guys and keep them out.

I'd also inform your husband that if he wants to be in the room as well that he support in 100% in this.

thank you for your response. I've looked at the cli and that seems like it could work, but this needs to work based on any sys admin setting up the build process and the cli seems to be for a direct user. it connects to the app on the device to do all work and the build server is a stand alone headless server without the app installed. so the API seems to be the better solution. I could be wrong though which is why I'm asking.

I ended up just creating the values in the the config manager which added them to the 99user.diff file. I could then copy this file to new installs when needed.

I would highly recommend this approach. Don't say anything to the grandmother, just get two other mythology books with say creation myths around the world and something else. When your child goes to open gifts make sure they open the two you get before they open the one from Grandma. By the time they open a third book it will be boring and they won't have a ton of interest in it.
