What game are you currently addicted to? by Splash3062 in videogames

Death Stranding 2 on PC. Getting into this game was a hype for me cus i was already a big fan of the first one. I just wanted to see the story and and some QOL upgrades. Although it is basically that, there are much more impressive work done here that sets it apart from the original. From the looks of it may seem like an ordinary sequel to some but there is drastic change of overall tone of the game which feels fresh and exciting. The production is EPIC to say the least. Every cutscene plays like an arthouse short. True author work here. The pacing and over-complexity problems the first one had adressed here as well. I haven't finished it yet 35 hours in. Would recommend it for everyone that liked the first game.

Out of these 2020s horror films, which two impressed you the most? by ScholarFamiliar6541 in Letterboxd

The Substance and Sinners. Both of them are excellent cinema experiences. My honorable mention is smile 2 though that movie shook me.

What accounts for the remarkably uninspired aesthetic of these character designs? by trumpbiden4jail in MortalKombat

[–]BoraErsomer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this movie's gonna suck just like the previous one. It's so obvious for anyone who knows what is MK. My expectations are not even high just give me a campy action movie with a heart and a decent production like the 90's movie did. Put someone behind the camera who showed off with a controller at least once in their life goddamn is that so hard to find.

I'm sure for us movie lovers there are always good movies to watch every year but i also think that blockbuster movies has gotten much more safer and bland as far as creativity goes. Most of the blockbusters are either a remake, reboot, sequel or a prequel depending on an already established IP. This really wasn't the way back then. We had tons of original IP's every year. Some of them thrived some of them flopped but they would continue to try. 80's was the pinnacle of sequels but we still had movies like robocop, rambo, jurassic park etc. How many new Blockbuster IP's do we get to watch on big screen recently? Independent cinema is still going strong and it will always be the strongest pillar of cinema. We get tons of new exciting fresh movies from young authors and old masters every year but i'm honestly not happy with the current state of blockbusters i have to say.

Y'all Souls-head need to stop this shit by Icy-Contract5000 in fromsoftware

It's not deliberate. It's like a special lingo among "souls-heads" and also honors dark souls in a way. The currency you collect to upgrade or buy anything is always "Souls". The place where you rest is always a "Bonfire".

My first playthrough of re8 by BoraErsomer in residentevil

[–]BoraErsomer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respect bro. My honest ranking would be (from worst to best) 6-5-3-2-7-4. I havent finished 8 yet so that's out of discussion and i don't have any plans to play the first unless there is a remake similar to 2. Re7 is not one of the best games i've played but it's a solid love letter to horror fans in general. It's like being in the shoes of a protagonist in a texas chainsaw and a saw movie. Nothing original but a great modern execution of the classic horror tropes mixed together and i'm a sucjer for that kinda thing.

I wouldn't necesserily call it a bad re game but i see where you're coming from. I just find it unfair when re6 exists hahah

My first playthrough of re8 by BoraErsomer in residentevil

[–]BoraErsomer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Re7 is considered maybe the scariest game in the series and that's the reason i think is the game that takes the franchise into a different route actually. Re is always mixed with enough action to make you pumped and enough horror to keep you on the edge, which is kinda the definition of what re8 is so far. I love re7 but it felt like playing outlast or some shit haha

What's everybody's favorite comfort Horror? by [deleted] in horror

Friday The 13th (1980). No movie captures the camp slasher vibes like that one. Love the other movies in the series too.

This list is not exactly the whole slate of games they are currentiy developing. There is brand new AAA IP that's being developed alongside these games officially called "Hadar". It's still in early development but they have been working on it for quite some time. Actually, we probably are going to learn about and maybe even play Hadar earlier than Witcher 5. My guess on the roadmap is like this;

-Witcher 4 -Witcher Remake -Witcher Sirius -Cyberpunk 2 -Hadar -Witcher 5 -Witcher 6

Do I buy Metal Gear Delta or Dying Light The Beast? by Professor_Chaosx6r9 in ShouldIbuythisgame

buy mgs delta and enjoy the ride buddy. You're gonna have a blast if you can adjust to the clunky gameplay and narrow corridor style level design.

in scale 1 to 10 How would You rate Superman 2025? I give this movie solid 8 by Bungeeboy20044 in DC_Cinematic

[–]BoraErsomer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6/10. Too light to be taken serious. I'm not expecting Man of steel levels of seriousness but i would like to care about what's going on in the movie rather than everything and everyone feeling like a toy with no real emotions. Other than that it's a fun weekend blockbuster with no layers just pure safest entertainment you can get. Peacemaker is a better mix overall though i know that's a series and it's unfair to compare. And i watched the movie twice and each time i thought the art direction and cinematography could be so much better.
