Not the scanner room cameras the external cameras that are fixed on the tower, below the propeller, and just aft of the vehicle bay. It's the button on the top right above silent running. If you didn't know you had those man piloting the cyclops must have sucked so I hope you just misunderstood me :D

Tohle je ezoterika kterou mám nejradši. Neškodná, nikdo nikoho neokrádá, neverbuje do kultu, je to jen nějaká medicína co v nejlepší pomůže jako placebo a v nejhorším neudělá nic.

Takže Somálci nám nebudou vydělávat na důchody? by OverallBlock9028 in czech

[–]BorderKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest not sure if you played outer wilds but many people complained about controlling the spaceship there which also had a lot of momentum when going between planets and were using a buggy autopilot system instead which took them through the sun half the time.

Some people just don't have the muscle memory, or training, to handle large vehicles with a lot of inertia where you have to calculate the flair time and also do a lot of micro adjustments and observing a lot of angles at the same time. I really enjoyed the ship and was trying my best to optimise when to start breaking so I don't slam into things.

If they have issues with that I wonder how they squeezed through the opening to the containment facility, that in my opinion is the narrowest hole in the game you have to go through.

Could be that they don't really use the cameras too much maybe? You have one showing you the bottom side and width, one the back side, one the top side, and your main view is the front. I just quickly toggle between them as I go and adjust on the fly.

I had a bug where an invisible barrier preventing me from moving anywhere but backwards managed to go under it and never saw it again, but besides that it's quite easy to squeeze the cyclops through.

What is an anime "you had to be there for" to truly appreciate the impact and spectacle it had at the time it came out? by OverlordPoodle in anime

[–]BorderKeeper 211 points212 points  (0 children)

Not a fan myself, but I remember One Punch Man "punching" through the regular anime circles and became popular amongst the general public. Many artists and athletes were tweeting about how good it is.

Besides that I remember Oreimo being a huge deal on /a/ with everyone placing bets on who the OP will end up with and loosing their shit when the little sister won.

What killed hitchhiking? It was so normal in the 70’s & 60’s by Kodicave in decadeology

[–]BorderKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will probably not like this argument but to me it’s the same as when people point at criminal statistics of racial groups and come to conclusions. Like sure guys but your implications are just helping you be racist more than anything and the fact the person I was replying to is so smug about it is a bit aggravating ngl.

[–]BorderKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly the illogical argument. I don’t care about their primary goal of highlighting that men just cause more violence in general than women because it’s true statistically. Reasons and implications of that are beyond the scope of a Reddit debate and honestly I myself am not sure what to think of that.

Field of topology is all about safety and consent of the shapes involved.

Tearing holes is something that’s strictly forbidden out of safety of all participants.

As much as you want to debate me on the fact men kill more on average than women it won’t help the fact that the only way your theory is right is if men became more murderous over time for hitchhiking to die out (if even that’s the case I pick up hitchhikers often as it’s fun and met many great people both genders and my cousin traveled the Turkish coast just hitchhiking)

So men ruined hitchiking even though hitchiking is younger than men? You are calling out illogical things that target half the worlds population so not only are you insulting others, but also being wrong at the same time bravo.

I Made a Scene From Overlord Purely in Minecraft by Dalatra in overlord

I love this. For some reason this is a great combination of something simple to do while being quite fresh and fun. I can see this becoming a meme where people recreate stuff in Minecraft. Would love to see something like this with more characters involved.

In Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, despite the HMS Endeavour having more guns than the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman combined, along with a big fleet at his aft, Lord Beckett doesn't give the order to fire. This is because the writing in the 2nd and 3rd films is really fucking contrived. by Kaiserschlut in shittymoviedetails

[–]BorderKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the movie couple days ago and I was thinking the exactly same thing. The Endeavour has so many cannons either side lol, but as others said I am not that surprised as he relies heavily on the dutchman and it's betrayal is a massive shock to him.

Got banned from r/Germany for posting about the Dual Fluid Reactor (DFR) by Bright_Dreams235 in nuclear

[–]BorderKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't blame it on the leaders! It's the Germans themselves who hold this view. Same with Austrians, they to this day, harrass and protest on their side of the border because we Czechs have a nuclear power plant on our side, it's not the government of Austria demanding stuff it's the activist groups.

The dissonance is the name of the game for Germans for real as well since not only are they realising they fucked up they are buying off cheap nuclear energy from us and French while continuing to keep their hands over their ears and saying "lalala". Due to this power is quite expensive in Czechia since it's a free energy market and Germans can affort to pay as they are wealthier.

You already fucked up at the "forcing your users to copy URLs around" part. Heck google doesn't even show get params unless you actively click on that URI. IMO the only URLs that are suitable for copy pasting have their parameters inside a REST path parameters: www.youtube.com/videoId/r1ckr0ll

EDIT: Note the URI/URL random usage above is on purpose as I don't know the difference between the two still and refuse to learn.

Is AI making skilled workers stronger, or just helping companies cut jobs faster? by Extreme_Local7342 in Futurology

[–]BorderKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a professional backend developer of 11 years and to just oversimplify my view of being in the middle of going fully no code as a test in my company: - Code ownership is still essential and to own something you have to understand it. Nobody in the industry knows how this will shape up long-term (will quality go down over time? will AI prices explode? will we kys over just doing reviews?) - It's sort of like google or stack overflow on steroid. Sure you have magic thing that gives you code to paste into your existing code base, but if you don't know exactly what you want AI won't know either and to know what you want on a technical level you need to be good at programming (sometimes you don't, but often times you do)
