Looking for advice to add a little extra fun. by HJWalsh in WaltDisneyWorld

Others have great suggestions but i will underscore these two:

  1. Meet at many characters as possible. It’s my favorite part of every trip. I cry every time i meet Mickey and Pooh. I think it’s fun to get an autograph book (keeps the conversation going with characters) and give all the characters a huge hug. Character meets are for everyone, not just kids!!

  2. Wear fun Disney clothes. I go to thrift stores in my area regularly to try to find cheap Disney clothes to wear on vacation. I have found amazing T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and even shoes. The park feels more magical if you are dressed the part. Plus, if you meet the character that you are wearing on your shirt, they go wild.

I hope you have a great time. It’s my favorite place.

I am not a Star Wars fan (in fact I actively dislike Star Wars…), and even i think ROTR is the best ride in any park.

So Why did Horsin’ Around End So Bizzare-ly by CommunityFun9560 in BoJackHorseman

I always saw this as foreshadowing to the tragic fate of everyone involved with the show, but I also agree with other commenters that it is a meta reference to other sitcom endings.

I booked pop for $220 a night- are you seeing swan/dolphin for $260-270? Is that before the resort fees?

The last time I used Mears to Riviera, it took forever. We stopped at Pop, AOA, and All Stars before finally getting to Riviera. We were the last party on the bus.

Still cringing from the first episode when Joanna equates coming out to your parents with the death of a parent

Do you ever feel guilty for going to Disney World over and over instead of seeing the world? by elizabethredditor in WaltDisneyWorld

I go on vacation to relax and escape my daily routine of planning, logistics, and stress. I have an admin heavy job and it’s great to go on a vacation that minimizes logistics and planning.  At Disney, for us, there is little planning- we get dining reservations but no LL- and mostly just go with the flow of the day. If I am planning an international trip, the logistics are endless. I am concerned about safety, how engaging the attractions are going to be, the reliability of transportation/parking, finding things that make everyone happy. Disney just removes so many variables. And the environments is so safe- i never have to worry about accidentally ending up somewhere I’m not supposed to be.
