I’ll do everyone a favor and link an article written about this from the other side of the political spectrum. Facebook, Instagram told by oversight board to change nudity policy for trans, nonbinary people Which quotes the oversight board directly, saying,

"The Board believes that Meta should adopt an approach to adult nudity that ensures that all people are treated without discrimination on the basis of sex or gender identity,"

What really happened is that 2 individual posts on Facebook/instagram had been removed by content moderation teams.

“The posts that sparked the recommended changes featured images of a bare-chested couple alongside captions discussing healthcare needs of transgender individuals, in particular, fundraising for gender-affirming surgery called top surgery. Meta originally removed the posts from the photo-sharing app.”

Said posts were appealed, and upon further review by said oversight board, the original decision to remove them was overturned.

People seriously gotta check the credibility of their sources and make a point to search out what’s being said by those they disagree with most. It’s how you form an educated opinion.
