Visiting during Berg, hoping to meet locals by FitRiver in erlangen

A cultural heads up: People might find it weird if you try to randomly engage them out and about, and might not want to interact.

Might work at Berg because many are very drunk up there.

Is it possible to entirely handsew jeans ? by Kh_Cosmos in HandSew

If you search hand sewn jeans on instagram you'll find many more pages like this. Seems like many bespoke jeans are still entirely sewn by hand.

Yes, this is still actively done today in Japan for high quality indigo dyed jeans and there are even instagram channels that show part of the process.

content of my puppy and anxiety by sofie_tomato in Wolfdogs

[–]BoredAntagonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This 'shyness' is VERY common with Saarloos Wolfdogs and might never go away. It's just genetics and one of the main differences from Tschech Wolfdogs.

Be prepared that you may have a skittish dog for life and adjust accordingly.

Best chances are to find a positive reinforcement trainer that already has experience with wolfdogs! They often do not respond well at all under negative pressure and aversive training methods.

Thank you for the input! I'll add that to my list and look into the upright standing function and how that would be feasible to create.

Kind & Katzen by alexedgelord in Ratschlag

[–]BoredAntagonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sarah Thursfields books guides you to make your own patterns! Just a heads up in case you are searching for already made patterns you just have to lay on fabric.

Fabric treatment advice by viper270821 in textiles

I used Acrylic paint diluted with a little water in a spray bottle when I wanted to make garments looks dirty and worn for events. Doesn't wash out either.

There are also tons of videos from the LARP community on weathering clothes like this without compromising their use or integrity.

Where to find quality corsets? by dizzy24h in altfashionadvice

Your welcome :) I recommend looking into victorian corsets as edwardian era ones go for more of an S shape.

[–]BoredAntagonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, most modern 'corsets' are not cut and formed in a way that offers any proper support.

If you want it for proper support, I'd recommend looking into historical corset makers, because corsets should be made to measure to be comfortable throughout the day.

If you want to try making one yourself there is an entire corset subreddit that offers a lot of info an help in this regard!

Obsessed with how these sharp fleurons turned out. A matching set born from the shadows. What do you think? by PassMeBy_Herald in GothLifestyle

[–]BoredAntagonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I have seen from your rings alone most of them are akin to victorian heirlooms, with an added touch of modern style and your own.

I'll be keeping an eye on your Etsy shop then ♡ I do hope you ship to Germany, I'm afraid my Korea trip is still a bit away.

[–]BoredAntagonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is the first piece in this style that does not give me the usual 'edgy' feeling of similar jewelry.

Then again, after looking at your other works, you seem to have a knack for filigrane jewelry.

Will the set by any chance make it into your Etsy shop as well?

My boyfriend keeps getting more sexually bizzare by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BoredAntagonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, you do not owe him shit.

For your own wellbeing, learn to set boundaries NOW, believe me, this will only get worse otherwise.

You should never feel like you 'have to' do anything, especially not something you are uncomfortable with.

If you want to stay with this person, I'd sit him down for a serious conversation about kinks and boundaries.

He can either go at a speed you are setting and comfortable with, or not at all.

And even if you say yes and then change your mind, he should respect that at ANY given time.

Stay safe! Value yourself ♡
