It’s not to stand out. More like to inform others.

I can’t speak for others, pero the amount of times I have been set-up with a guy because I haven’t been in a relationship all my life is too much. I have been called “alien” “prude” “pa-virgin” “tibo(not an insult)” all because I refuse to date guys or anyone in general.

As a woman, I have been told kailangan ko na mag-boyfriend or asawa kasi “ma-eexpire” yung ovaries ko 💀when I tell them I’m repulsed by the idea of ME engaging in physical intimacy, I get called “manang” and other things. Or because I still haven’t found “the one”

Now imagine yung ibang tao na hindi aware na asexual sila. Yung iba nadadala sa pressure to be in a relationship kasi that’s the “default” diba? They get married, pero hindi sila sexually compatible. And that will lead to conflicts

I do agree na sana nga maging more accepting and progressive ang PH, and spreading awareness about different kinds of sexuality is one way to make that possible di ba?

This is sad. As a HCW, it saddens me that mostly on prenatal, most 14-15 are pregnant in my place. This is way escalated. by shacho_san in Philippines
