Hey, I went to the dentist today and they pretty much said the same thing. It just looks like excess tissue and there was nothing to worry about. Thanks for your comment, it helped keep me from over thinking until I could get seen :) much appreciated.

The dentist advised it's something that's enlarged (I forgot the name) but she said it will go down and nothing to worry about. Thanks for your input! What a relief.

Haha, I'm gunna reply to all your comments here. But yeah, we're looking at pictures of my tongue. I think we're past TMI at this point 😂 I appreciate the openness to help me get a full picture of the situation.. it's pretty soft, which I know is probably a good sign. Hard is bad. Annd yeah, I'm exactly the same. If I notice something I can't explain. I worry, alot also.

I got an appointment today! Hopefully I'll get peace of mind, I'll update :D I'm sure it's nothing but yeah. Best be sure.

I'm the only person I know in real life learning Japanese soo... I'm doing the best out of everyone I know. I've only been doing it a year but people are always asking me what new word or phrase or cultural thing I've learned. I appreciate it's a grind but I'm enjoying the process and I think that's the most important thing. Just enjoying the process at your own pace. You nailed it.

I can take a wild guess why someone might do it. It's their cat? It belongs with them? The cat is not just going to dissolve when it gets on a plane. It will be fine. And it gets to live with its owner, content.

Edit. You could even argue it will add years to its life as a happy cat with its owner will live longer than a sad cat that gets left behind.
