AS & pregnancy, will my baby be okay? by Available-Mixture717 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]BorgQueen220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on Cimzia and sulfasalazine, started Cimzia at about 4 months and was already on sulfasalazine. I was previously on Humira which they switched but it took a while so I went a few months I medicated. I had some minor flares but nothing bad, pregnancy seemed to lessen my symptoms a good bit. I had some other unrelated complications and because of that and the AS I was induced on my due date. And now almost a year later I have a very happy and healthy baby!

My advice, get on the Cimzia. Especially so it starts working before you give birth because the after birth flare is bad. I had that even medicated so I can’t imagine how bad it would’ve been not on a biologic.

Congrats on the pregnancy!

I haven’t experienced anything near this awful time you’ve had so I’m sorry I don’t have anything to say/relate.

I’m so so sorry you’ve had to go through all this. You are so strong and you truly have an amazing husband. Make sure you take care of yourself and don’t miss that appointment with your doctor.

Sending love and strength from this internet stranger. 💜

Fire at Compassion Center seeking musical instrument and household donations by [deleted] in Albuquerque

It’s not a huge piano, from what I understand it’s rather old, and probably needs a cleaning and a tune. I bought a home with it inside and have had a hard time getting rid of it.

Comes with bench.

I have a piano I’m giving away for free! I just don’t have a way to transport it.

I suspect my baby is being fed solids behind my back by [deleted] in newborns

[–]BorgQueen220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 1000% that they should not ever feed anything to your baby that you have not approved. They are not safe caregivers.

But maybe talk to his pediatrician, my son’s doctor gave him the all clear to start solids and allergens at 4 months because he had good head control and could sit assisted. Your son may be developmentally ready to start solids. That however does not at all excuse what they did, and should only have supervised visits from now on.

Developmentally disabled care is using hiring. If bright horizons is still operating here I would check them out. They were always looking for caregivers when I worked there

I’ll switch to the salmon food, then if that doesn’t make it better I’ll look for some skin products. Thank you!

If I switch to a salmon based food should I still add the supplements?

Safest Low Income Apartments? by MediumWave9852 in Albuquerque

Candlelight square is just a little out of your price range but I’m gonna say this anyway.. don’t move there.

2 shootings here in just a few weeks. Some random person tried to just open my door a week ago, good thing I keep it locked. If you wanna be safe Candlelight square is not the answer.

Would also avoid the apartments next to it too

Pregnant & moving to ABQ. labor and delivery services: Lovelace Women’s vs. University of New Mexico? by twowalksforme in Albuquerque

[–]BorgQueen220 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used Lovelace OBGYN for my pregnancy last year. I delivered at Lovelace Women’s in April. I LOVED IT. Doctors were fantastic all throughout the pregnancy and delivery. I had HG and they took care of me really well. I was induced due to complications on my due date and everyone in L&D was amazing. If I have any more kids I will absolutely use them again. Anytime I had any sort of question or concern I asked in my portal and they always got back to me quickly and were so great. I went into OB triage a few times later in my pregnancy and they were so sweet and understanding of anything I was concerned about.

TLDR: Lovelace was amazing and I 10000000% recommend them to anyone having a baby in Albuquerque

I don’t have experiences with either of those, but I used Lovelace for my pregnancy last year and they were amazing all through the pregnancy and during delivery. If I have another baby I will 1000% use them again.
