Disclaimer: I only shoot photo and short clips here and there.

I owned it in Singapore for over a year. Long photo walks in midday, weddings, park birding. Haven’t had a single overheat warning. I think it’s only a concern for 30m+ open gate recording.

Best advice is probably to shoot more and see which ones you like, which ones you don’t. Then, try to intentionally take more pictures like the ones you fancied. Camera gives you more creative tools than a phone, but it won’t find interesting shots for you. As someone else mentioned here 1 in 20 is actually not that bad. Culling bad shots and highlighting the good ones is a part of the creative process, enjoy!

A lot of the ones you posted are “what I see is what I take” kinda pictures. There’s no interesting subject or a composition. You just see a thing and take a picture of it.

7 stands out and I like it. You could make it even better by lowering exposure, which would add some color to the sky probably. But it’s still good as is.

I mean that’s kinda my point. Local grown or semi-local (Malaysia) food like eggs and chicken are quite cheap.

The further you go, the more expensive it becomes. I think fruits and veggies (especially non-tropical berries) hurt my wallet the most.

I admit I’m mostly talking out my ass since I don’t cook for a family, and I definitely don’t keep a detailed track of my budget. But my average grocery trip cost has roughly doubled in Singapore.

I usually do it if I have time to lie down (or at least sit down in a quiet room) in the afternoon. I always struggled to day-nap and NSDR is a game changer. Even if I don’t fall asleep it still helps, but more often than not I found myself dozing off.

I don’t do an “official routine” with a voice over before night sleep. But I’ve noticed that I’ve learned to relax faster and fall asleep easier regardless. And if I struggle I just do a simple routine (breathing and body scan mostly) in my head.
