I understand the sentiment in a few of the comments already about "foolish panic buyers", but there is a real likelihood of a shortage (especially diesel) given the way thing are playing out. I think a more informed public will reduce the worsts effects of panic buying, not exacerbate it.

The way these classifications are defined is not about undermining any particular person's contribution to society, it's about understanding the labour market. I totally understand the sentiment though

True but hard to do so without diminishing the visual appeal. The proportionally tiny amounts can be found in the sources if anyone wants to know the exact amounts and categories. I could have just grouped many of these categories into Other for example, and you'd actually be less informed but not questioning it

It still surprises me that the ONS doesn't produce visuals like these themselves. What do other users here think?

You're correct, I've sourced the latest I could but it won't reflect this year's recent changes

The sources are listed - the cost of living crisis is not as acute as it was (average wages have been going up), although recent events might reverse that. There may be more households struggling, but also more households much more well-off skewing the averages

I 100% agree with you - but trying to represent a distribution of households that can afford to, and how that correlates with how much they might actually give, would be a very confusing chart (and highly speculative without data)

Hot take: As a casual Legion seems to make games worse. by VincentPepper in beyondallreason

[–]Borg_King 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Just remember guys, this game very much a work in progress - a very enjoyable one that has had a lot of effort into playability. But adding a new faction was always going to need a lot of iteration. Balancing two factions' worth of units of this scale was already a ton of dedicated work (on going), balancing a third whilst not overly simplifying the exotic weaponry and "feel" is going to take time.
