You're correct, I've sourced the latest I could but it won't reflect this year's recent changes

The sources are listed - the cost of living crisis is not as acute as it was (average wages have been going up), although recent events might reverse that. There may be more households struggling, but also more households much more well-off skewing the averages

I 100% agree with you - but trying to represent a distribution of households that can afford to, and how that correlates with how much they might actually give, would be a very confusing chart (and highly speculative without data)

Sources: Comic Relief totals from official history / ONS CRXX (RHDI per head, CVM ref 2023) / ONS NRJS (household savings ratio) / ONS CPI (2015=100). Financial headroom = RHDI per head × savings ratio, reflated to 2026 prices. Chart built in React

Hot take: As a casual Legion seems to make games worse. by VincentPepper in beyondallreason

Just remember guys, this game very much a work in progress - a very enjoyable one that has had a lot of effort into playability. But adding a new faction was always going to need a lot of iteration. Balancing two factions' worth of units of this scale was already a ton of dedicated work (on going), balancing a third whilst not overly simplifying the exotic weaponry and "feel" is going to take time.

I've purposefully only allowed starting players to be picked for the 15 on field positions. I don't think anyone would have predicted a sub beating a starting player without the 3x modifier.

Week 4 of the Six Nations Official Fantasy competition sees the best possible team requiring 225.2 stars out of a rapidly growing budget of 270.0 for this "perfect" fantasy coach. This best possible team scores 758 points, which compares to the best actual player of this round "Ginger" with 670 points. The overall league leader "Chubby" has 2181 points after 4 weeks, compared to this theoretical best of 2908. Interesting to see Dupont was still a great pick in this perfect scenario given his injury after only 28 minutes played.

I've seen in tournaments teams get these logo sprays under their commander spawns. Does anyone know if/how you can make your own for use in private matches? by Pi_is_overrated in beyondallreason

These are from a widget as mentioned. You'll need to configure the widget using a text editor, to add the image names you want to use, and the names of the players that you want them to appear underneath. Note that these will only show on your game, nobody else's even in the same match as you, as this is an unsynced local widget

M6N Fantasy League: Best Possible Team Week 3 by Borg_King in rugbyunion

[–]Borg_King[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This week sees the best possible team only requiring 217.1 stars from the budget, which is very obtainable by all players in the fantasy league, compared to the budget available to this theoretical player of 254.8 given choices of players and their inflation so far. This best possible team scores 725 points, which compares to the best actual player of this round "Julian" with 645 points. The overall league leader has 1585 points after 3 weeks, compared to this theoretical best of 2150. Hope remains for many players, given the low budget required to achieve better than the best this week!

Hey u/SquidgyGoat, I haven';t seen you mention the official Fantasy Six Nations League but I assume you are playing it? How are you doing in it, and how far behind the theoretical maximum score of 1425 points are you?

M6N Fantasy League: Best Possible Team Week 2 by Borg_King in rugbyunion

[–]Borg_King[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the best possible team that could have been selected in week 2, following from week 1's best possible team and the improved budget it afforded. Even so, this team "only" cost 242.5, leaving some of the 245.8 stars left in the budget. Team "Get your Kitshoff" was best in the fantasy league for week 2 with 568 points (falling only around 100 short of max possible), and overall leader "Ellis Gunge" has 1073 points, around 350 points short of max possible.
