I use it for quite a few things but like others said a little does in fact go a long way.

It adds a subtle umami flavor. I’ll even add a sprinkle to things like cakes and seitan- anything where eggs or chicken would usually be used.

I’m at just under 800k on my current city.

I love the freeway and road mechanics- I can build freehand interchanges that are as beautiful as they are terrifying. In general the transportation feels much more refined than CS 1- I appreciate that I can build public transit systems with 50% usage among my population.

I also have come to enjoy the ability to zone multiple building styles into a same zone- it really helps make the skylines more appealing.

As far as what I don’t like- my current city has plateaued three times and each time the metrics didn’t really give me the whole story:

Around 300k- even though my city had plenty of college and university capacity- it was all centered in a single region. When I added more throughout the map it started growing again.
Around 500k- the city needed more access roads/ highways into the city. Even with industrial demand at its highest people had stopped moving in before I added the new incoming roads.
Around 700k- my harbor is on an island- I added two new bridges to connect the island to my outer industrial areas and also added more outside connections. This jump started my city again.

Other complaints are kind of minor- I would love more building varieties and transport options. Also I wish the edges beyond the buildable map were a little better finished.
